 Welcome to Solid Gold Pets! We are the appointed distributor for Solid Gold's Health Products for Pets in Singapore and the South East Asian region. We are honoured to be able to carry Solid Gold's products due to their rich history and accolade as a pioneer in natural and holistic animal nutrition.
Solid Gold was founded in the United States in 1974. Its founder and owner, Mrs. Sissy Harrington-McGill, went to Germany in 1974 and found that the German Great Danes were very healthy and lived on average 2-6 years longer than their American counterparts. She believed that this difference may be attributed to nutritional aspects and gathered samples of some German dog food, in which she had them analysed. From there, she developed Solid Gold Hund-N-Flocken (meaning 'dog food flakes' in German), and the rest is history.
