Adding Web Forms to Blogs and Websites

By: Amy Weinberg

Web form is an online form that is embedded in a website. Almost every website today has at least one form (usually a contact us form). There are a few options for those who want to add a web form to a website:

1) Hire a professional programmer to build the form with a database.

2) Learn html, form creation, database and other related subjects and

create the code for the form yourself.

3) Create the form using a form builder tool.

4) Use a ready made component - widget or gadget.

The first option is sometimes much too costly. The second option is not realistic, unless one has a lot of free time and a solid background in programming and internet. This leaves us with the last two options which are equally affordable and realistic.

Option number 3 is a more realistic and affordable option and it talks about a form creator tool for building website forms. This tool enables a non skilled user to design his form, while all the code behind it is generated automatically. These kinds of tools are available on the internet today and one can pick and choose the right one according to his/her needs.

The last option is also a good option for website and blog owners, and it's free. This option talks about using a ready made form component in the web site or blog. These components are called widgets or gadgets and are available in special directories.
