Computers and Homes

The idea of having a smart house has been brought to our attention for quite a long time, but to actually getting there is a long way. Scientists first have to make the right breakthroughs and then implement them into a smart house.

The entire concept behind this is that if you had a house that could act like a human, how would it be like and how would it improve your life. The idea of having your house making sure the place is warm before you reach the house or preparing your bath tub without having to do anything could seem somewhat, futuristic. If you stop and think about it, this is not that far form implementation. The technology is there, but all we have to do is assemble it and then write the code for the house.

Don't underestimate the work that has to be done to write a house that acts intelligent by learning you preferred channels on TV or you house hold habits. Coders have been working at this for a long time and I have never heard of anyone that has managed to get such a code running. The most difficult part to implement is the part when you have to talk to it. Giving orders is one thing, but having the house giving you a second thought on the matter is another.
