There are people that don't have a clue on how to optimize their computers performances and thus they keep complaining that they have a slow computer. To set the records straight and stop getting so many questions about this, I have taken the liberty to write this article.

The first thing you have to do when your computer starts to be unresponsive to your commands is to check out what unnecessary programs you have opened. Try closing everything that eats up your memory because your computer can't tell the difference which programs has a bigger priority than the other. After you do this and your computer is still running slow, you might consider using some programs that can help you optimize your memory management.

Tools such as these are very reliable because they can really help speed up your computer's virtual memory and thus, you will have better performance from you pc. Still, if you are somewhat experienced when it comes to using a computer, at the first sign that your computer is running slower that usual, you can run task manager and from there, you can choose the application you want to close. This is useful to check out what process eats up most resources and then you can end it or set up a different priority to it. This is for professionals only and I don't recommend doing this unless you are sure what you're doing.
