Remove Runtime Errors From Your Computer

By: Cynthia Blake

Runtime errors have several causes, and there are a few ways to remove runtime errors from your computer.

Re-Install Software

If a particular program is giving you problems, then it's a good idea to re-install the software. Run the program's uninstall utility and then remove all remaining files and folders that haven't been removed by the utility.

Sometimes un-installation utilities are not thorough. This is one thing that can lead to a bunch of common computer problems, including runtime errors.

In order to thoroughly remove all files from your PC, you should consider using a registry cleaner. These programs are great tools to help clear your computer of obsolete and invalid files.

Not only can programs leave behind entries when they are uninstalled, but temporary entries can build up causing other problems as well.

Using A Registry Cleaner

Runtime errors are often caused by registry files that are left over or obsolete. Sometimes these entries even become corrupted. Windows is notorious for having errors come from the registry.

Registry repair software will easily allow you to scan your computer and remove these unwanted files.

When choosing a good cleaner, you'll want to make sure that it's backed by a reputable software company and that it offers a backup and restore feature. The registry is delicate, and you'll only want to use the highest quality software when performing a scan and clean.

Running a repair program on a regular basis will help keep your computer streamlined and running smoothly. There is no way to accurately pinpoint each cause of registry problems, but if you want to fix runtime errors then I highly suggest running a registry cleaner first. It will most likely solve your problem.
