Neff Integrated Laundry

By: Braeg Heneffe

One of the important things when choosing a laundry appliance is that you feel comfortable with its ability to get on with the job of washing and drying your clothes whilst you are able to set your minds to other tasks. The last thing you want is a flood and an underwater kitchen, so make sure that you buy your laundry appliance from a name that you can trust, whoever that may be. If it is particularly a Neff washer or dryer that you are after there are two combined washing machines and one washer dryer available in the Neff integrated laundry selection at the time of writing this article.

Another important thing to consider is the efficiency of the laundry appliance that you are going to purchase- modern washing machines use less water, electricity and detergent than older and the washer dryers are more energy efficient than they used to be, whilst still being gentle on the clothes.

But one of the most important things to a lot of people is how the appliance will look when it has been installed into their kitchen.

The reason why so may people are going for integrated appliances these days is because they prefer the look of the particular cupboards and furniture doors that they have chosen compared to seeing the actual appliance. And although modern appliances are far less bulky than they used to be, a Neff integrated laundry appliance slots neatly in between two kitchen units and allows for a furniture door to be fitted to the front of the machine so that it blends in with the surroundings of the kitchen rather than being on display.

Neff integrated laundry appliances can have the furniture door hinged from the left or the right of the machine, but the porthole door on the washing machine or washer dryer can not be changed, so it may be less confusing to have the furniture door hinged in the same direction as the porthole door. A plinth is then fitted along te bottom to allow access to the pump and the vent. This can be easily removed or cut out at any time if required.

All of the Neff integrated laundry appliances are automatic and the washing machines come with an extra feature called the CircoCare drum system. This system is designed to be an improvement on the internal drum and paddles, the new drum structure featuring raised droplets across the surface to ensure that the laundry is given a more powerful, yet gentle wash.

The drum structure works together with the new paddle design that have been updated to provide better movement of water, by creating two different edges- one steep and one shallow. The steep edge creates a stronger force, which is designed to make the wash better and the shallow edge is gentler. When combined, the steep and shallow edges work together to create optimum water movement for better washes.

Neff integrated laundry provides a range of programmes and features and the washing machines have a 7kg capacity whereas the combined washer dryers have a 5kg capacity.
