The first thing you should know is that dieting is to control the intake of food. You should never forbid yourself from eating some kind of food. This is especially true if you love a particular kind of food which is not really good for you when you are trying to losing weight. For example, if you are someone who loves burgers very much, you can probably have a burger say every two weeks. It will not really hurt if you only eat them once a while. You will not be able to stick to your diet if you try to stay away from your favorite food forever.

Besides, you should only eat because you are hungry. Nowadays, a lot of people eat not because they are hungry. Some people will eat because they feel frustrated. If you are one of such people, you will be very inclined to eat when you fell unhappy. And this will make you unable to stick to your dieting plan. You should never quit your diet because you are depressed. You need to try to deal with the problem when you feel depressed. Eating is never a good way to solve the problem. You will probably feel depressed again after you have finished the food.

It is true that you would like to know if the diet is effective or not. To this end you may want to check your body weight everyday. Yet it is not really necessary for you to do so. Your weight may fluctuate during the day and you may be disappointed if you try to check your body weight everyday. Without any surprise, you might just quit if you feel disappointed with your dieting plan.

You will need to seek for help and advices when you are having your dieting plan. You should try to consult some weight loss professionals or your physician if you have any problem. Remember, you are not an expert in the field and you may not know the way to solve every problem you have when you are trying to lose weight.
