Craving for takoyaki? Go eat WOW Tako!
Just the name of this store is attention grabbing! But dont worry, what they offer really is WOW! Try it out if ur craving a quick snack!
Shared the takoyaki balls with friends while waiting for other friends for meeting. There are quite a lot of different choice for the ingredient inside, include the beef cheese, ham cheese, octopus, tuna, chicken, sausage, scallop, prn and etc. we had two of each and it costs $4.4 for six pieces. The tako balls are ready made, so it is very fast, the staff just need to pick up and put inside the box, but it also become cold and not hotly served. A bit not nice. Though the bonito flake is in generous portion.
Fancy some Japanese delights? How about trying out Takopachi?Offering many choices of fillings; Bacon and Cheese, Ham and Cheese, Octopus, Prawn. In addition, it also offers different toppings too!Selling at 3 for $2.50, it is definitely worth the eat. Also, you can mix and match the different flavors offering you the taste of different choice at one go. Moreover to that, the staff there is helpful, ask for extra flakes cause there are no extra charges!
Cheap yummy japanese takos balls @ bugis junction , wow tako 4 for 3$ and 10 for $6.80 and do check out the sale after 8pm The flakes they give is alot and u can ask for more! they also have unique toppings like nacho cheese, hershey chocolate ! takos are made the day itself but one thing bad is that the amt of octopus/ham and cheese inside is quite little for the price the sauce is so-so only
I could not resist queuing up and buying the tako balls when I saw a few girls having them. Luckily for me, the tako balls are just made, so it is pipping hot. The exterior crust is a little crispy and the interior is soft. I choose the cheese and ham filling and the melted cheese just oozes out, making it very delicious. I omitted the mayo because I thought the combination of the sauce and the flakes made this very flavourful already. Try to get them while they are just made, because it really does taste better.
Decided to grab a light snack before a movie and went for takoyaki! Love the prawn, ham and cheese and salmon takoyaki!! So So good!! Love the flavour of it and it isnt super oily to the point where there would be a horrible aftertaste left in your mouth. Love the sauce and bonito flakes in its topped with and i would definitely come back to eat more and try more flavours!
Felt a little hungry so i went to the basement of 313 for a light snack and decided to go for the takopachi balls! Ordered the prawn, ham and cheese and octopus balls! Really love the bonito flakes and the mayo and cheese drizzled on top! The tako balls were warm and filled with awesome fillings! Love the taste and the chewiness of the tako balls! It was really really good! and it definitely satisfied my cravings! Will go back for more!
It has been ages ever since I had Tako Ball thus I have decided to buy 4 for $3. The ham and cheese inside the soft and hot Tako Ball with mayonnaise and katsuobushi (fish shavings) spread across the Tako Balls. It is very delicious and can be quite healthy to be consumed as well.
takoyaki my favourite! The takoyaki stall always tempted me to try it whenever i walked pass the stall. The smell from it really fragrant and nice. finally i have the chance to try on it and it was good! the flour ball is moist and wrapped with the baby octopus which is crunchy and juicy! i love the bonito flakes on top which added the flavour to it!
it\'s looks interesting when they are cooking the tako balls so we tried some. it was $2.50 for 3 balls. but it wasn\'t worth it. there was so little filling, you wouldn\'t notice even if you ate the filling. mostly flour. like a round pancake. quite oily. the sauce wasn\'t good. wish i had asked not to have the sauce. the sauce made the balls soggy. would not be ordering from them again. it smells good while it\'s frying in the display area but it sure doesn\'t taste that good. rather overpriced.
i saw lots of people buying so i thought maybe it would be great. but i was wrong. it was quite terrible. the gindaco one is much much better. the tako balls here are like amateur tako balls. the filling is very little and the whole ball falls apart like a pancake - full of flour. the fishy sprinkles on top was salty and smoky. the sauce they put on top of the tako alls was not helping the tako balls. it just made the balls even more soggy. not recommended. tried the scallop and octupus and both were not good.
Passing by Wow Tako, I saw they were having a promotion. For 4 Tako balls, they cost $3. The usual price is $2.50 for 3 Tako balls. I ordered all octopuses as I really like this topping. They have a wide variety to choose from such as bacon and cheese, scallops, prawns and more. I like the warm and moist texture of the Tako balls.Spending: Approximately SGD 3(Night Snack)
I always loved eating tako yaki;D This time I tried the salmon flavour tako yaki. Although I was I little disappointed with it, overall it was still nice.(: The salmon was quite little and could not really taste the salmon. However, I still loved the taste of the tako yaki with the fish flakes, mayonnaise and teriyaki sauce. As always, it was a bit crispy when biting the outside, and the inside was soft with the ingredients;D Now we get to upsize our tako yaki from the usual 3 balls to 4 balls just by topping up $0.50, which is quite worth it if you are hungry for more.(:
I tried the tako flavour twice I find that is just SO SO It taste like pasamalam takopachi but more expensive than pasamalan Their takopachi is very thick, they put a lot of flour,i feel like im eating flour The tako is very hard to chew also i don\'t like i rate 3/10
This is a very popular Japanses snack originally made from diced octopus pieces covered by savoury pancake skin with lots of mayonnaise sauce inside. To cater to more people who do not take octopus, they also have other ingredients inside which are ham, prawn, chili tuna, etc. One thing they should improve is their heater. Would prefer that they made the tako balls on the spot cause it does made a difference between eating a hot one and a not so hot one. They are also not as generous in their fillings. For the ham one, it\'s only one small square piece of ham inside. I can\'t really taste the ham at all.
It has been quite some time since I had taco balls. Tako balls are quite addictive due to the seasonings used to flavour it. The outer skin is also quite crispy, especially if it is fresh off the tako maker. Wow tako\'s tako balls are quite average, but still satisfying. I got a box of 3 with tako filling. Topped with teriyaki and mayonnaise sauce, together with the fish flakes, it made up for the less crispy skin and measley tako hidden within the ball.
This is one of the very \'IN\' snacks that are loved by the youngs and olds.Japanese favourite balls with octopus fillings and mayonise sauce. The Kisoks can be found at most of the shopping malls in Singapore and they offer quite reasonable priced balls. However as they love to pre-cooked their balls first to avoid long queues outside their kisoks, this also make their food becomes cold and not too tasty too.Rooms for improvement. My verdict: 6/10
Tako yaki is always always a great snack to have. While the name meant grilled octopus, i was glad for its variation in ingredient used because i simply do not like to eat octopus. So, I would always go for the ham and cheese. It is always fun to look at them making it, and i love the dried bonito that always come with tako balls. It is even more delicious to add cheese, which cost additional $0.50. The cheese reminds me of those kind that always goes with nacho. Great!
It only cost $2.50 for 3 pieces- for any flavor that you choose. I settled for 2 prawns and 1 octopus, these 2 are my favorite flavors. Not the best tako balls around that I have tasted but certainly a pass. The entire piece of each individual tako ball was soft and mushy, at least they were served warm and not at room temperature though.
I was hungry and craving for a snack before dinner. I happened to pass by WOW Tako at 313 sommerset and decided to get some tako balls. I ordered the octopus ones and each tako ball was filled with low quality octopus. Although the octopus wasn\'t very fresh, i enjoyed the unique sauce and the batter of the tako ball itself. Overall, pretty ok for its price at $3 for 4 pieces. Will try other flavours next time.
It was after 8.30pm, my boyfriend and I just had dinner but being greedy, we wanted an extra night snack. Probably due to the late hours hence the aim for clearance, Wow Tako happened to have a promotion of 5 pieces for only $3. This was really attractive to us and we headed for this. We had 1 flavor each, the guy allowed us to mix: 1 beef and cheese, 1 ham and cheese, 1 octopus, 1 scallop and 1 prawn. They weren\'t the best Tako balls I have tasted as they were actually cold and hard (maybe they were left there for too long), still edible though. Worth the value but wouldn\'t come back again after such experience.
It was my lunch time and I\'m on a look out for something light to eat. Came across this stall and since I haven\'t had any tako balls lately I went ahead for it. Lucky i 3 pieces were for $2.50 which is pretty reasonable. There were only chicken ham, octopus ham and cheese and prawn to choose from. You are allowed to choose any 3 from these selections! The counter lady was nice to asked if I wanted Mayo with it and i told yes with a lil extra on the side. She was generous enough to give me a pool of mayo by the side! Love the mayo! Brought it back to the office and it was already cold but it still tasted good! The mayo mix with the dark sauce (which i dont know) is just awesome. The octopus was chewy just the way i like! After gobbling down the tako balls im left craving for more!!!
