Wouldn't be great if we got a check for every movie, restaurant or store we referred other to... ever ask a friend; to refer a doctor, lawyer or plumber (all make about the same amount of money per hour)...and ever get a commission for the introduction??? Most likely, NO... but we continue to refer businesses to new clients all the time...
Well, what if you got half of the commission for every sale that was made from introducing people you know to a product or service...would that be interesting...? Of course it would!!! That is called, Joint Venturing, in today's internet world....
This is the teaming up of companies with Marketers who are looking for additional streams of income. The company provides the Marketer (or JV partner) with a unique link to whatever it is they are offering, so the results can be tracked and then the JV partner go about spreading the word.
This can be done in a number of ways... by direct mail, email, placing ads, one-on-one personal marketing and even taking on their own JV partners. The marketing opportunities are endless and limited only by ones imagination and personal initiative.
How would you find a company willing to joint venture...well, just ask... if someone came to me and said, "hey... I would love to promote your business"...it would take me about a "nanosecond" to agree and "link them up"...
Some things to look for in a good company to promote:
1. A high commission product or service - no sense dealing with nickel and dimes
2. A company or person with integrity
3. A program that is totally automated
4. A system with an online back office, to track activity and results
5. A company that is relatively new and growing- appealing to a large group of people
Some things to know about a JV relationship:
1. The commissions is usually only on the first sale - residuals are reserved for those who invest in the business opportunity
2. You control the marketing effort, but must remain in compliance with the company standards and ethics
3. Commissions are typically paid 30 days after the sale
What do companies look for in a JV partner:
1. An individual or business with a large data base
2. People with integrity and professionalism
3. People motivated to earn big incomes
4. Those who can follow a system or process
Being a Joint Venture partner can be extremely rewarding...if you have a list or data base of people who have already purchased from you or are profiled to become targeted leads... this is the sweet spot. Having targeted customers to a specific business opportunities or product will increase conversions dramatically. Once you find the right formula, it's like printing money.
So, don't delay, find a company, get connected and start marketing...they are everywhere...and closer than you may think...
I wish you the best of success in your future endeavors and Joint ventures...
