What's the best remedy for the hot weather in singapore? Definitely a big cup of thirst quenching Gong cha!
Gong cha chocolate milk tea with pearl for $3.20 tastes like koi. Thumbs up!;)
i like this better than koi :D
I always love their earl grey milk tea with herbal jelly!
Great to have gong cha on a hot day!
Milk tea with black herbal jelly Sooo refreshing!
Got so thirsty on my way home and when I see Gong Cha, their milk tea is first on my mind!
Crave for bubble tea? :) *slurp*
Always had milk tea with pearl after bbq session It taste so good :) You can find gong cha almost everywhere in SG they have may outlets especially in town area
The lemon kumquat juice with QQ jelly is one of the best on their menu
Tasty bubble tea with choices of flavours. You can also choose your sugar level on your drinks.
Im addicted to bubble tea! Gong cha is probably one of the best places to get my fix from!
The best bubble tea! Should try esp their gong cha green milk tea!
Yummy taiwan tea with bubbles.....more bubbles please...
They are having a promotion! U should check it out :)
For all bubble tea lovers like me, try Gong Cha's milk tea! Make sure to ask for pearls for a complete experience!
I really can't resist the temptation when passing by GONG CHA!!! ... gong cha milk green tea with white pearl jelly is so yummy!..
gong cha milk green tea with white jelly!!!!! yummy...
First time trying this as i have a craving for milk tea. Wanted to try something new so I ordered the ginger milk tea. Ordered zero percent sugar yet still taste a little sweet as if sugar syrup was still added, but i doubt so. The ginger is not too "hot" and do not blends in with the drink. This way , i actually tasted the ginger. Not too bad. But more should be given though. Nice .
Strawberry calpis drink with white pearl. I love the drink as it is a yogurt base drink flavored with strawberry. The white jelly pearl is always very nice. Texture that is not too soft so it is not that chewy as normal pearl. This has no sugar content. The person who served me has good attitude and always has a smile. She also greeted me loudly in a pleasant way when she sees me coming towards it. Nice service.
For $2.50 a cup, it was my first time trying gong cha and I was really keen to know what the big fuss over it was and after my first try, I really liked it! I decide to try one of its more popular drink which was alisan tea with milk. The tea taste is very rich and soothing and has a nice bittersweet after taste of tea. If you like tea this drink is for you! To reduce the bitter taste of the tea, milk was added on top of the drink and you could stir it to blend with the tea but my recommendation is to try the tea first and the milk separately before mixing them together to get the different taste of each. It was one of the best drink I have drank and i look forward to trying more of its tea in the future! Highly recommended!
Walked by Gong Cha at Square 2 and noticed that they have introduced a new flavour on their menu, Taro Milk Tea. The Taro Milk Tea however was a bit too sweet for me even though I only asked for 50% sugar level. The Taro Milk Tea also lacked both the yam and tea flavours. The drink does not come with pearls, so you need to fork out extra for them. Overall I think the drink is not worth getting.
Normally I wouldn\'t bother writing a review of Gong Cha because I think no one needs any persuasion to buy Gong Cha, it\'s so good it doesn\'t even need a loyalty card! Singapore is always in-trend with loyalty card, even starbucks have. It was raining and I was drenched. When I walked up to the counter, a trainee immediately went to fetch a box of tissues for me instead of asking me what I would like to order. That really surprised me and is what I call excellent PR skills. I\'m now convinced that Gong Cha is king! – Today I tried their pudding bubble tea, it is exactly the same I had in Taiwan.
First time at this new mall at Greenwich. We found Gong cha situated directly at the entrance and decided to order something to quench our thirst. I ordered black tea with thick creamy milk foam. The texture of the cream at the top is awesome. Take a sip of it together with the milk tea. It is perfect! I had my drink in 50% sugar level. It wasn\'t too sweet or too bland in this case. Yummy!
i ordered the Taiwan black tea from gong cha. I have always ordered the milk series or the green tea, red tea series so it was the first time for me to order the black tea. I was kind of curious how it would taste, instead it tasted pretty good. very refreshing, it was not too sweet and you can totally taste the tea fragrance. it taste pretty light too, very good for those hot days.
Ginger milk tea helps helps alleviate congestion and minimizes mucous, even helping asthmatics. Though alot of people dont like the taste of ginger in cooking right, then they should try this. The taste of the ginger is not very heavy and thick, Therefore it should be okay for people who dont really take ginger. It is also an excellent natural anti-inflammatory! It costs $2+ for regular size !
What i often drink of Gong Cha is their Alisan Milk Tea with Milk! <3 I liked it the most is the milk and it\'s so creamy and milky. Whenever i drink this i would feel happy. And the bottom is the cooling tea with ice, and i would even use the straw to taste the milk first and sip a little of green tea! (: It is special as compared to other drinks with pudding and pearls! (: Love it.
Honestly, i am not quite a fan of the bubble tea from Gong Cha. I have tried it a few times but it did not manage to leave an impression. I have first got to know about Gong Cha in Hong Kong. I have always always the bigger cup there but i do not get the big cup in Singapore as they served their drinks in the smaller cup. I ordered the Lemon Kumquat Juice with QQ jelly. It turned out to be nicer than expected. The sweetness level of the drink was just right and the QQ jelly has got a nice chewy texture. This is one of better drinks on their menu.
Ordered a cup of earl grey milk tea with pearls for a hot hot day. Usually I don\'t order pearls but somehow today I feel like chewing something while having my bubble tea. The earl grey tasted okay, with sufficient sweetness and tea smell. The pearls were nice! Chewy, not too soft. The skin of the pearls were all intact and rounded. As i am bubble tea lovers ! No matter which is which i will still continue to support Gong cha !!! ^^
I was excited to spot this outlet of Gong Cha at AMK Hub. This must be one of the newest outlets of Gong Cha. I wanted a large cup of green tea with bubble. The staff informed me that they only have 1 size which is 16 oz for $2.20. I did not ask for the level of sweetness. Since there was no queue i got my drink almost immediately. After took a sip, i would prefer it to be sweeter. The texture of the pearls was not as soft.
We saw a few young ladies with Gong Cha in their hands while shopping at Novena Square 2 and decided to get one for ourselves. We walked through the 4 storeys but can\'t seems to locate the Gong Cha store. Finally we managed to locate it outside the building, level 1, next to the taxi stand. Waiting time was really short, we get our milk tea almost immediately. Perhaps the number of customers were not as many as other outlets due to their secluded location. The milk tea with pearls was good, nice tea fragrant. However, there were a number of ice lumps which affected the drink texture.
I bought myself a green milk tea from gong cha. So glad to see gong cha opening at more places so their drinks are just readily available when we are craving for a cup of nice bubble tea. I especially like their milk green tea. I will always order 30% sugar so I can taste the fragrance of the tea leaves. The milk powder they use in their drink is just so creamy, makes the drink taste very milky. Absolutely refreshing.
the best drinks ever
Usually i will order alisan tea with white pearl,as their white pearl was very chewy but this time i changed to konn jac jelly ,& it tasted quite weird the tea turn out to be sour instead of sweet ,this combination failed but after drinking few more slips i find that it turned out to be pretty ok but still prefer to goes with white pearl for waiting time,as is school holidays now,so it tend to be a bit longer queue than usual waiting time around 10-15mins OVerall i rate 7/10
With the bubble tea crazy, more and more bubble tea stalls have been set up around the island. Located at basement 2 of City Square Mall is the flagship Gong Cha stall. The queue was quite reasonable so I queued up to get one to try. I had the bubble milk tea. The pearls were big and chewy. However, I was kind of disappointed with the tea it used. I thought it was not as good compared to KOI and Each-A-Cup which I have tried.
That hot Friday where i met my siblings after school for shopping! When we arrived at somerset, we were thirsty and we decided to try this Gong Cha that most people say it tasted as nice as KOI. I brought the Milk Tea with Grass Jelly while my sister brought the Fresh Milk Green Tea. The Fresh Milk Green Tea was yucky! It tasted weird maybe due to the milky taste... So my sister brought another drink as she can\'t bring herself to drink it any further. HAHA. So she brought Passion Fruit Green Tea. The passion Fruit Green Tea was alright but i didn\'t like it as i do not like the passion fruit taste. :/ I like The Milk Tea Grass Jelly! It was amazing! The Grass Jelly just melts inside your mouth and slide down your throat with this cooling after effect! That\'s feels best in this kind of hot Singapore weather! The Milk Tea tasted fine but the overall was! AWESOME! <3 But the tasted of the Milk Tea get thicker as time pass by.. and I started to get sick of the taste. But the power of the the Grass Jelly is still there! <3 I just love the Grass Jelly! hahas! You should try this Milk Tea with Grass Jelly during one of this HOT days!
This melon tea costs $2.80 and it was rather sweet so it is reasonable that they dont have sugar level for this. I had it with black pearls and it came with three levels - bottom one will be black pearls, middle will be tea, top will be some creamer like liquid. I find that this drink was quite sweet on its own and it only has a slight melon taste. The pearls are sticky at the end when i finished the tea and towards the end of the drink, it is a bit oily.
This fresh milk with herbal jelly drink cost $3.40 and i do not think that it is worth that price. Firstly, the milk wasnt aromatic and thick. Also, the herbal jelly didnt have much herbal taste although it added a tiny bit of taste to the tasteless milk so it was wise to add that in. I was rather disappointed with it as i bought it due to the recommendation sign beside the product name.
I happened to chance upon a gong cha at junction 10 shopping mall. I ordered their milk green tea with less pearls. Opted for 30% sugar level cos I do not like my drinks too sweet or else I will continue to remain thirsty. Their green milk tea is very smooth, has a balanced of milk content and tea fragrance. The tea they used taste really fresh, do not have any bitter taste. The milk is very creamy. One thing I like about their pearls is that it is very chewy and yet does not stick to your teeth. There are some bubble tea whose pearls are simply overcooked and it sticks to your teeth, leaving this annoying black stain. I like gong cha drinks, too bad they dun have large size.
Finally, I had the chance to drink Gong Cha. I always wanted to try a cup, but my parents never allowed me to. NO, they would say. Every time I see a Gong Cha outlet, I would long to have cup. Today, I managed to get my mum to buy me a cup. Hurray! I ordered Honey Fresh Milk Tea because there was a 20% discount. It tasted wonderful. The honey went well with the milk, making the tea sweet, but not too sweet. It was a perfect drink. However, the service was unsatisfactory. The staff were talking among themselves. My drink was ready and they continued talking, leaving my drink at the machine. It took about 45 seconds to get them to take it out. But, I still didn\'t get my drink. They left it on their work table, and I had to stretch out to take it. What amateurish service! Be that as it may, it wouldn\'t stop me from getting more cups in future. (:
Discount on any toffee drinks now!
After hanging around, I decided to grab some drink. I ordered Earl Grey Milk Tea With Pearl Jelly. First time trying this flavor, I think not bad. Normally I will ordered 80% sweetness. But this still depends on your personal preference. The pearls were large and perfectly chewy but is not as good as KOI. It was QQ and easily suck up the straw. Complement the drink well. Aromatic and refreshing drink for the hot weather. The fresh milk cream was creamy and sweet. The milk taste was strong too.
I have decided to try something different, Gong Cha Lemon Juice with white pearl. The white pearl tastes very different from the usual black pearl. It is much more chewy and crunchy. The lemon juice is neither too sour nor too sweet which is what I liked and it is very refreshing.
This outlet is situated between cineleisure and scape. The service staff we quite efficient and took our orders down quickly. There is a waiting area, where you can wait as your cup is being prepared. I had earl grey milk tea from this outlet and decided to be adventurous by adding coconut jelly (nata de coco) topping into my drink. It was a very bad choice in my opinion; there was a coating of sweet flavouring around the coconut jelly which did not go very well with earl grey tea, in fact it overwhelmed the earl grey milk tea taste. I would prefer sticking to the milk tea and pearls combination. .
Ordered a sour plum jasmine green tea with konjac jelly from Gong Cha. This is a pretty good combination with a mixture of sweet, sour and bitter taste of the sour plum and the jasmine green tea. The cold and chilly drink is much suitable to be consuming on a hot weather. The konjac jelly is a healthier substitute for pearls. It costs $3.
Gong cha recently open a new store at amk jubilee. As it is quite a distance walk from amk hub, the q here is not as long as the one as koi. There is also a new outlet at amk hub opp funzcentre gameshop. Tried out longan red date tea with pudding jellythe sweetness was just right and the jelly was really soft and silky. You could really taste the pure logan with a slight mix of the red date. It was really a great way to cool off from the heat.
I always like Gong Cha 3Js Early Grey because it consists all of my favourite toppings. Which are pearls, pudding and grass jelly, it is a combination of that and early grey milk tea. It is heavenly awesome when they put in small cubes of ice which makes the drink really cold and nice to drink during a sunny hot day! (:Despite the queue over there, but still worth it.
Bought this after finish dinner with friend. All time favourite Grass Jelly Milk Tea with 80% sugar level, it was not bad. I can tasted the fragrance of the tea. The jelly was very smooth and goes well with the milk tea. The drink was milky and not overly sweet. The pearls were chewy and I love biting them. Personally, I prefer the bubble tea from KOI, compared to Gong Cha.
So glad gong cha opened so near to home. I realised that there are many gong cha opening at different places and from my observation of them preparing their drink, they are various methods. Some of them shake the drinks while other add the drink into a blender and use it to mix it. I was glad that the yew tee branch uses the blender, by using the blender, you will get an even mixture of the drink. I ordered their earl grey milk tea with pudding. I seldom order pudding but this time I decided to give it a try. Actually gong cha’s pudding is really good. If you order a milky drink, it will go really well as their pudding is very creamy and milky. Their earl grey tea is very fragrant, you can taste the rich earl grey fragrance. The amount of milk they added to the drink is just right, very creamy and milky. I think the pudding and earl grey milk tea is a great combination.
Gong cha certainly serves one of the best milk tea for this bubble tea industry.Normally I would have their basic milk tea with pearls as this can taste the original tea flavour and at the same time enjoy that big round chewy big black pearls too. The tea flavour is indeed very fragrant and sufficient milk has been added to make it taste so good. The service here is fast and efficient, also the young staffs here are very friendly too! Good job gong cha!! Spending: Approximately SGD 2.50(Tea)
This is a rather new Gong Cha at Westmall. Was told that Alisan tea is rather nice to try, so decided to get one to quench my thirst. I quite like this Alisan tea. Its quite refreshing and not too sweet. Really enjoy my cup of nice cold alisan tea on these recent hot day.
Knowing that I am a coffee fanatic, my girlfriend recommended me gong cha\'s coffee. I always thought that gong cha only sold bubble tea so when she suggested I try their coffee, I was rather surprised. I ordered their caramel coffee. It turned out really good. The coffee fragrance was really strong but did not overpower the caramel taste. The caramel added a little sweetness to the coffee as gave it a mellow caramel taste. You can tell that they used premium coffee beans to brew their coffee. I was pretty hooked onto their coffee.
I have to control my intake of bubble tea. I drink almost thrice a week. It\'s bad for health. High sugar intake which makes me grow horizontally each day. Among so many bubble tea outlets, I rate Gongcha as the no.3 choice. My first is Chatime, KOI then Gongcha. It makes me feel happy after drinking, especially during a hot and humid day.
wkend exhibition at marina bay sands theatre titantic exhibit feeling thirsty , me and my friends decided to get a drink so we pass by gong cha and decided to try due to many variety of drinks from ice blended , to milktea , juices etc u can add pearls , jelly , aloe vera etc to the drinks we order a plum tea and milk tea the plum tea is sour and not sweet cos it is 50 % sugar and the milk tea taste cooling and the pearls are big and chewy to bite we will try the 3GS earl grey tea next time round cos it consist of 3 type of toppingsSpending: Approximately SGD 3(Tea)
i didn’t know gong cha have hot drinks until my sister ordered one for me. I was telling her that I was craving for something hot during the cold weather and she suggested gong cha. I followed her and ordered a hot earl grey milk tea. The earl grey milk tea turned out nicer hot. It was not too sweet and you can totally smell the tea fragrance. The tea is very warm and smooth. It slowly flows down the throat. The amount of milk they use is just right and it was perfectly dissolved in the tea, unlike some places, you can taste milk powder at the bottom of the cup but this was not the case for gong cha. Really impressed, guess I will be ordering more hot gong cha.
Gong Cha, another bubble tea shop from Taiwan. As usual, you can always see a long queue out there, waiting to buy the drinks, just like KOI. The prices are almost the same range as KOI too. I personally think that the Gong Cha Milk Tea is the signature milk tea that you will not want to miss. It tasted heavenly with the black pearls. The pearls are big and chewy. Service was decent and price is affordable. Will definitely buy it again though
This is Gong Cha Milk tea with pearls with low sugar. The pearls inside is chewy and don\'t taste bad nor hard which also means they cook it everyday and ensure it\'s fresh that satisfy consumers. And the milk tea is brewed with real tea and do not taste artificial therefore it\'s good and nice. Drinking this in the warm weather is fabulous! (: And it costs about $2+ only.
Comparable to KOI and Eskimo, Gong-cha enters the game with a few special drinks and a lot more chewy goodness. The prices are in the same range as the other two as well. I\'ve love their Alishan Milk tea. I\'m not a fan of the Alishan Milk Tea (it tastes quite different because of the special milky/creamy thing ladled on top) and it certainly is unique and pleasant enough. However, I decided to go for another try on the black tea 30%, it is nice too, the leaves fragrant works perfectlySpending: Approximately SGD 2.50
As usual, since Im a tea fan & I was out shopping, I din\'t miss the opportunity to go and buy myself a milk tea. This time,i chose it cold, with 50% sweetness. It was just perfect. The Gong cha teas are really different & have a distinct, individual taste as compared to other Pearl tea outlets in Singapore. I don\'t mind going out everyday & grabbing a Gong Cha tea every evening, since I\'ve become such a great fan of them :-).Spending: Approximately SGD 2.5(Tea)
I just discovered quite an interesting tea at Gong cha that day and I have been constantly ordering it quite regularly! It\'s Earl Grey Milk Tea with herbal jelly. I used to love pearls a lot but gong cha\'s pearls are not that nice so I opted for herbal jelly instead which turned out amazingly gooood together with milk tea. The herbal jelly is not too bitter and I really like the jelly texture when you slurp it up the straw! I always thought herbal jelly with milk tea was weird but no! I think this combination is much much better than pearls and healthier too!
I love Gong Cha and that was why when I saw it at Novena Square 2, I immediately went and grab myself an Earl Grey Milk Tea. It was fantastic.. as the weather today was rather warm, this delightful drink helps me to cool down from the heat Everyone should go try it, there are many different variety of drinks available, tell me what\'s your favourite one, for me that would be EARL GREY MILK TEA!!!
Were delighted when we see the Gong Cha store at Marina Bay Sands, finally something affordable amidst all those branded stores ! As usual, we get the Lemon juice with white pearl and ai-yu. Slightly sour this time round.Something special for this branch is that you can enjoy your tea at a comfy corner at Marina Bay Sands just besides Gong Cha store. At that corner, there is comfortable sofa and stools that everyone can freely sit.We were lucky that there was also live performance when we were there.
Was out shopping for groceries when I saw there was a Gong Cha in front of the supermarket. I was not familiar with Sembawang Shopping Centre as I just moved into the neighbourhood, so was pretty pleased that there was Gong Cha here. The great thing was - There was NO QUEUE!!! Left my dad to pay for the groceries and I dashed to the Gong Cha counter to order my drink (Yes, I was mad about Gong Cha, not their bubble teas, but Lemon Honey drink). It was only $2.50 for a plain lemon honey drink, and service was quick. Got my drink in 2mins after I paid. It was just nice, not too sweet or sour; although there wasnt any sweetness level you could choose. (For their other drinks, you can choose the level of sweetness you prefer)Only thing was, there were lemon rinds and flesh inside the drink, which I wasnt a very big fan of. It just felt weird to eat lemon skin and flesh while drinking something. Overall, the drink was very refreshing. My dad and mum kept snatching the drink from my hands and took sips of it. In the end, I managed to drink only about half of the whole cup. Nevertheless, the drink perked me up and I didnt felt as sleepy as before I drank it! Spending: Approximately SGD 2.50
i have this $2.50 voucher for gong cha which is why i ordered one of their most expensive drink (or is this the most expensive one?). i love the matcha, but the taste is not as strong as tea dot one. in my opinion, they gave a lot of azuki bean which results in me eating the bean after just a few sips. i hate the brown thing that is floating on top of the drink too. is it brown sugar? anyway, it tastes weird! its a bad idea to mix them together. oh, and dont add in any other extra thing e.g white pearl because its likely that its not going to match the taste of matcha plus azuki bean.Spending: Approximately SGD 4
My wife & I are great fans of pearl teas. We have to havea pearl tea whenever we go to a mall. We recently tried the Oolong milk tea- hot with pearls at Gong Cha. It has a different flavour compared to a normal milk tea. The pearls were nice and chewy too. We had asked for 30% sugar and the sugar level was just perfect. Spending: Approximately SGD 2.5(Tea)
I bought it yesterday I had the camellia tea with white pearl It cost $2.20 per cup & 0.60cent for white pearl I had it in 0 sugar,it tasted a bit bitter but the white pearl was sweet so it actually balanced well ,not too sweet nor too bitter I also can tasted some small jelly strips inside
My children are simply fans of bubble tea. The other day we happened to pass by a gong cha and both of them immediately changed their course of path and headed straight to it. As I was having a slight flu and cough, I did not want to drink a cold beverage so when I looked at the menu, I was surprised to see that they actually have hot drinks too. I decided to give it a try since my kids were already in the queue. I ordered their hot green milk tea. It tasted really good to me, without the ice, you can taste they actual fragrance of the tea. The milkiness of the drink makes you wanna take sips after sips. It was not too sweet as well. a really comforting drink on cold weathers.
My boyfriend and i were feeling rather adventurous and decided to order something other than our usual milk tea at the gong cha outlet at jubilee, ang mo kio. We finally decided on the calpis mango au lait, which was a very complex and difficult to pronounce name for a drink! To our surprise, it tasted much like a mango yogurt drink, but it was not bad at all. I like how refreshing the mango and yogurt combination was in this drink, and it had just the right amount of sweetness.
i followed my daughter to queue for gong cha the other day, apparently gong cha is popular among people of all ages. After looking at the menu, I settled for their earl grey milk tea with herbal jelly. I didn’t want my drink to be too sweet so I opted for 30% sugar. The drink turned out really good, it is not too sweet, the tea is very fragrant and most importantly the herbal jelly topping went really well with the drink. Most bubble tea stall uses grass jelly instead of herbal jelly. I find it rather interesting that they used herbal jelly cos herbal jelly by nature is towards the bitter side but their herbal jelly did not taste bitter at all. It was really good and refreshing too and very cooling to the body.
didnt really notice this outlet till a couple of months back, now can really say the whole town is invested with gong cha, is like everywhere.personally i prefer sweeter tea so normally i will get 50% sugar level and i could not really tell the difference between the bubble tea among the different stores but my girlfriend always say they all tasted very different.Spending: Approximately SGD 2.50(Tea)
Being a fan of bubble teas, we religiously go to Gong cha for an evening tea often. This time my hubby tried the Camellia tea, it was too sweet, though we requested for just 30% sugar levels. My Sister in law tried the Green milk tea, which is her favourite & I tried the hot caramel milk tea, which was really nice, it smelled and tasted good was was quite refreshing.
On my way home, pass-by the Bukit Gomak MRT gong Cha. Having a rather short queue, I decided to join the queue for my favorite gong cha. Ordered Alisan Gong Cha Milk tea, waited for a minutes or so. Usually I don’t go with the black pearl or jelly. Nevertheless, I can say tt Gong cha is a must to go with their white pearl. I love Gong cha, But I can say I prefer not to have too ice much to go with it. Bukit Gomak branch goes best with my request. Spending: Approximately SGD 2.5(Night Snack)
It been a long time i never touch gong cha,as i was quite disappointed This time my friend asked them which is the best seller They said "alishan tea" so we tried it instead We reached there around 2pm,So there\'s not much queue, only a few student, waiting time around 10mins I ordered 30 % sugar & added white pearl for 0.60cent One bad thing about gong cha, they pearl not free, need to pay if want I ordered 30% but it was still very sweet, mayb due to the milk on top But it was quite refreshing, compare to their green milk tea The white pearl was very QQ & chewy Overall i rate 7/10
pass by 313 and was thirsty so grab a gong cha. the queue was not too long so that was good. i gotten the usual milk tea with no sugar, i think the tea was more blend than usual but the milk was quite nice. some how i dont really like the pearls, kind of soft and sticky and not as chewySpending: Approximately SGD 2.50(Tea)
Strongly recommend you to try the Lemon Kumquat drink from Gong Sha as it tastes very good. Super refreshing after drinking it! Unless you love drink that is super sweet, I suggest that you take either 10% or 30%. Yes, you are choose 10% even though it is not stated as one of choices of sugar level. Personally, I also find that it is kinda value for money as it only costs $2.50 after adding the pearls.Spending: Approximately SGD 2.50(Tea)
I was feeling slightly adventurous, which is why I choose to order something other than milk tea, which is the plum tea. I regretted being so adventurous. The plum tea doesnt taste like plum tea, at least to me it does not have the soury, tangy flavour that I associate with plum tea. Instead, this tastes more like loquat fruit tea. The taste is just not right for me. It is quite a disappointing try. I guess I will think twice about ordering drinks that do not have the "crown" symbol beside them!
This is a memorable dining moment for me because...My hubby & I are great fans of pearly drinks :-).Among all the Pearl drink outlets in Singapore, I think Gong Cha & Koi are the best. Love the Milk tea with pearls at Gong cha. Its so refreshing & smells lovely. I\'ve tried Taiwan tea & Gong cha maintains the standard. But watch out, It can get addictive.Spending: Approximately SGD 3.5(Night Snack)
Was looking for a drink after lunch and saw this drink on promotion at gong cha. The name sounded unique and hence i decided to give it a try. I ordered the drink with 30% sugar, as i always prefer not too sweet drinks. The camelia tea is quite bitter, maybe because of the sugar level, but it is refreshing. The brown sugar jelly is chewy and goes well with the drink. I think it is a good alternative to the normal pearl milk tea and i will definitely order this drink again!Spending: Approximately SGD 1.90(Other)
One of my favourite drink after meal is always a cup of bubble tea. And Gong Cha is one of the milk tea brand that I like too. I like the way how they make those pearl so chewy and fun to eat. The milk tea is just nice to me for a 50% of sugar and medium size cup. I definitely go for a chat with a cup of gong cha with me;))Spending: Approximately SGD 3,50
The \'bubble tea\' trend seems to be something \'on\' in Singapore in recent years. Almost everywhere you can see youngster holding either the \'KOI\' or "Gong Cha\' bubble tea, seems like a must have drink everyday. Personally, I prefer the bubble tea from Gong Cha, compared to KOI. Had a bad experience in KOI when the drink is so sweet we can finish half of the cup. So, we switched to Gong Cha after that. Their bubble tea is the signature drink. From there, you can choose the different topping such as pearl, jelly, black jelly, coconut jelly, red bean etc.
This is a newly opened Gong Cha at Westmall and its my first try at Gong Cha, as usually i will be \'turned off\' by the super long queue although i wanted to try it very much. Was happy that West Mall has a Gong Cha now. And seeing that there wasnt any queue (Think not many people know about this new shop at the basement). Anyway, has got myself a cup of earl grey milk tea (50% sugar)! Love the milky taste of my tea (not that sweet) and love the chewy pearl. Think i should able to go for a higher percentage of sugar level as i find that 50% is not sweet enough for me. haha. .Spending: Approximately SGD 2.5
Was looking for a drink after my lunch, and chanced upon the rather newly set up bubble tea kiosk at suntec basement, and surprisingly there wasn\'t a long queue. There were a lot of different drinks on the menu, and i was spoit for choice. I finally decided on the lemon kumquat drink with jelly, 30% sugar level. I find the drink really refreshing, not too sweet and the jelly is fresh and chewy. The drink is also on chinese new year promotion and costs only $1.80! I would recommend this drink if you want an alternative besides the bubbble milk tea.Spending: Approximately SGD 1.80
Lemon Kumquat Juice is the CNY Promotion of Gong Cha for only $1.80. They put up a signage to show this promotion. I was at Plaza Singapore to do my CNY shopping and wanted a cold drink so i bought one to try. It got a nice lemon taste with some jelly thing in it. The jelly thing got a QQ texture so is very nice. It worth a try. There was quite a queue there this afternoon. I guess everyone must be buying this drink too.
Lemon Kumquat Juice is the special promotion for the Chinese New Year. This special drink has been offered at $1.80.The usual price is $2.70. This Lemon Kumquat Juice came with the Konjac Jelly. It was a refreshing choice with a tinge of lemon taste at the right level of sweetness. I enjoyed the chewiness of the Konjac Jelly quite a bit. The Konjac Jelly is quite different from the usual pearls and it is a better choice to go with this drink.Spending: Approximately SGD 1.40
The milk tea, apart from KOI, i am sure many of you also like the milk tea from Gong cha right Yap, i am one of the milk tea lover of GONG cHA ! and i never failed to buy the milk tea here whenever i go douby ghaut for shopping ! haha....the queue was quite shop so i always managed to got my milk tea just by a short waiting time. However, i feel that the sweetness given by this outlet is sweeten than other outlets, thus i will ordered 50% from this outlet while to other outlets i will ordered 80% sweetness. But this still depends on your personal preference. Thumb up for Gong cha \'s milk tea, CHEERS !
After a not so satisfying lunch, decided to get a a Gong Cha to refresh myself. Wasn\'t interested in milk tea today as I was quite full. Decided to get a more refreshing health tea - Lemon Juice with White Pearl Ai-Yu Jelly. Requested to exclude the white pearl to reduce the carbo and price . The drink was refreshing!Slight tinge of sourness and sweetness with bits of lemon skin and smooth and soft Aiyu jelly.
One of the best sellers is their famous Gong Cha Milk Alisan tea which is actually Alisan tea with pearl topped with generous portion of cream @ $2.80. The nice fragrance of the Alisan tea with floaty cream in every sip is simply heavenly. It was a long queue at Gong Cha stall at Vivo during lunch, waited for around 10 min. Will definitely be back for more tea, but perhaps at a less busy hours.
I decided to join in the queue to the newly open gong cha at yew tee point. There was not much of a queue, probably with 3 people in front of me. I think this could be due to the fierce competition they face from SOD, Zen Q and sweet talk downstairs. Nevertheless, I decided to order from them. I ordered the green milk tea, and I added herbal jelly toppings. After a five minutes wait, I finally got my drink. This branch is pretty professional, to ensure even mixture of the drink, they actually blended the drink, while some other branches, they merely just shook it. the drink is very milky and my 30% was the right choice. It was not too sweet. the herbal jelly was really good as well, very smooth and silky. It did not have any bitter taste as well.
Heard so much reviews about Gong Cha but didn\'t have the chance to try until today because each time i come across an outlet, the queues are always long and i\'m always in a rush. Came across Gong Cha at Raffles City today and surprised there was no queue. Asked the server to introduce me a popular drink and she recommended green tea at $2.50. Am disappointed that it is not delicious as i though and with the mixing of the milk, it just dont suit my taste bud. The green tea is served with milk on top and little green tea sprinkle on the milk. Glad that i did not queue for a disappointing drink. Spending: Approximately SGD 2.50
GONGCHA FTW. I\'m a fan of bubble tea. I always order Herbal jelly milk tea. It\'s not as sinful as drinking pearl milk tea as pearl is high in carbohydrate as it is made from starch. I guess herbal jelly is more healthy. That\'s my perception. It makes me feel happy after drinking, especially during a hot and humid day.Spending: Approximately SGD 3
I recently bought a couple of Gong cha vouchers from inSing for Earl grey milk tea with white pearls. After having 2 cups, I decided that I\'m not a fan of white pearls in any form of milk tea. The white pearls are just not chewy enough as compared to the usual black pearls and doesn\'t give me much satisfaction. The white pearls are really soft and do not really blend well with any milky tea based drink.
I am really a huge fan of gong cha ever since they open up business in singapore. I would choose gong cha over any other bubble tea shop in singapore, anytime. This time, i ordered the a different type of gong cha bubble tea to try. The matcha milk tea with azuki bean. The overall combination is really good. Although it is slightly expensive from the other flavour, it was definitely worth the price and this drink has become my favourite.
My colleague is so nice to treat us Gong Cha when he is back from his offday! He bought many cups with different flavours of each cup. The one i chose is the lemon jelly with white pearls This is a healthier choice as compare to the milktea as it contains lower calories plus it is "WHITE" Pearls which i think is very unique to have white pearls instead of the usual black ones. The jellly tasted very nice ~ soft and easily to drink through the big straw. The jelly does not taste bland as it is make of "Ai yu" try it out if you got no idea what is "Ai yu" !
Seeing there are only 2 people waiting for their drinks, I got two cups of Gong Cha for me and my hubby since we are thirsty and are craving something cold. I got the Earl Grey milk tea 80% sugar and Green tea milk tea 50% sugar. We find the sweetness level of 50% to be just right for the green tea milk tea such that we finished the green tea milk tea on the spot and left the earl grey milk tea for consumption the next day. At 80% sugar level, it is too sweet for me, and by the next day, having placed it in the fridge, the pearls had harden and are not chewy anymore. Next time, I will just go for 50% sugar level.
Ordered the alisan tea before and find that it taste weird.. I guess I don\'t really like those cold chinese tea much. Hence this time, I ordered the alisan milk tea. It tastes better as it doesn\'t really taste like chinese tea. For chinese tea lovers, I guess alisan tea would be a good choice Added white pearl and I really love it! It feels so different from normal pearls, it\'s more chewy and I love biting them. Normally after I drank finish bubble tea, I won\'t bother with the leftover pearls but for gong cha, I definitely will finish themSpending: Approximately SGD 3
My friends were always raving about how good and nice Gong Cha was, but as I wasnt a big fan of bubble-teas and the likes, i usually brush them off and stand aside while they were queue-ing for it. However, as I was thirsty and there wasnt a shop selling drinks except Gong Cha around, I decided to ask my friend to get me a honey lemon when my friend was queue-ing in the line. Luckily they had honey lemon, if not I wouldnt want to get anything even though i was really thirsty. (I simply adore honey lemon) My fren passed me my honey lemon, and I took a sip. Surprising, their honey lemon was not bad at all! It was actually quite nice and soothing to the throat on such a hot and humid weather. It wasnt too sweet either (since we get to choose our preferred sweetness). It didnt take me long to finish the whole cup and wanting to buy another one. Overall, will buy their honey lemon again, though it was take some persuading from my frens for me to buy their other drinks.Spending: Approximately SGD 2.50
Haven\'t had Gong Cha milk tea for some time. It was a very refreshing drink when I had it that day. At fifty percent sugar, the milk tea was still very thick and sweet but I like it because the flavour is still there and you know the sugar level has been reduced so it\'s less fattening. I asked for white pearls. Expected it to be the white pearls that were more chewy than the black ones but they turned out to be crunchy. I had drink served very quickly, within three minutes although there were quite a few people around.
What a combination! Fresh milk with grass jelly...I never expected these 2 items to match so well. In the first place, I was not even aware that I had ordered fresh milk, as I was looking at the board and make my order...my mind was thinking about milk tea with grass jelly. The first sip was weird, so i walked back to see what i had ordered, but as I continued sipping, I began to enjoy it. Strongly recommended for people who do not enjoy drinking fresh milk as the milk taste is not as strong after being mixed with the grass jelly.
I thought with all the hype and popularity they would be pretty decent. But they are not! The service is nice and I am amazed they know what I mean when i say I want a warm bubble tea - not hot and not cold. This is the only bubble tea shop that knows how to make warm bubble tea, which really isn\'t that hard to make at all. Anyway, the bubbles tasted WEIRD and unnatural and stale! And I ordered green milk bubble tea. It turned out VERY sweet even at only 30% sugar (I think they added 100% actually), and it was Chinese green tea, not Japanese matcha. If I knew it was Chinese green tea, I would not have ordered it. The cup is very small and it costs $2.50. Each A Cup still has the best bubble tea so far.
Located near to United Square, you will not have thought that a gong cha outlet will be here if not for their banner placed along the path way. Not an outlet with bustling business due to the nearby stores being coffeeshops and an old store selling household items. The milk tea was the correct sugar level but the tea had a very strong aftertaste which left me a little uncomfortable.
felt thirsty after a meal so bought a bubble tea from gong cha to try. my friend said it was good but i think is just very average or perhaps is just the one i bought was not that nice. i gotten the earl grey milk tea with no sugar which taste just ok cause the tea taste is not very strong. i added konniyaku jelly to my milk tea which was quite a big mistake cause the jelly and tea does not go well together, i think pearls still go best with milk teaSpending: Approximately SGD 2.6(Other)
one of the newer gong cha outlet in town, today i went to try their famous tea with the milk on top (奶盖) and i think it was horrible! i know that drink was their famous drink but personally is really not working for me at all. i mean the tea was ok but the milk on top has a goat taste and some other funny taste, i know is their some specially prepared milk which was supposed to be nice but sorry, i am the exceptional one who does not like that. and the milk just spoil the whole drink so much that after a few sip i had to throw awaySpending: Approximately SGD 2.5(Other)
after very bad experience with the milk tea i tried at the other outlet, decided to give this store a second try because there was no other bubble tea store around. this time i tried the oolong milk tea, much better than the famous tea with milk on top, at least no goat taste. but i think the taste still very average and not worth the priceSpending: Approximately SGD 2.20(Other)
There\'s alway\'s long queue and waited for at lease 25mins for my gong cha. I ordered Gong Cha’s earl grey milk tea with herbal jelly. The herbal jelly is very smooth and I can simply gulp it down without chewing the jelly. It is a nice combination with my milk tea. However, this mixture can be very cooling. It costs $2.40.
whenever i pass by raffles city basement, there is always a long queue at the gong cha store so that day there was no queue so i decided to try their bubble tea. i tried the winter melon tea, it was not bad. actually better than i imagine because i was expecting like those can drink kind of taste, but it has quite a subtle sweetness to it, so it turned out quite goodSpending: Approximately SGD 3(Other)
I decided to try gong cha’s caramel milk tea. I ordered their caramel milk tea with white pearl. I know that caramel will be slightly sweeter than other drinks so I opted for 30%. However, it turned out that the 30% is still too sweet for me. I was lucky I did not choose 50% or else I dun need to drink the milk tea. The milk tea is very smooth and milky, but the tea fragrance seems to be a little overpowered by the caramel. Nevertheless, I believe if I chose 0%, the drink will be just nice!
I tried the gong cha at choa chu kang lot 1 branch. I ordered their milk green tea with my favourite white pearls. I was kind of disappointed with their white pearls. the white pearls supposed to taste chewy and hard not the agar agar texture, but this branch’s pearls had the agar agar texture. I was so disappointed. However their milk green tea saved them, it is very smooth and does not leave an after taste. I ordered 30% so it was not too sweet. if only their white pearls were better.
Each time I drank gong cha, I would be trying different flavours so as to find one that I really like. And finally, I found it!^^
This is my first time drinking Gong Cha’s earl grey milk tea with herbal jelly. The herbal jelly is very smooth and I can simply gulp it down without chewing the jelly. It is a nice combination with my milk tea. However, this mixture can be very cooling. It costs $2.40.Spending: Approximately SGD 2.40(Tea)
White pearls can only be found in GongCha as compared to Cup Walker, Koi and Eskimo. The pearls are large and perfectly chewy. One can also pick the sugar content of the tea, but I must say that if you take anything less than 50% regular sugar content the tea element can taste very strong. It costs $3Spending: Approximately SGD 3(Dinner)
I cannot count how many times I have visited this milk tea shop in Novena Velocity but still I am amazed by the taste of tea. Today, I gave myself a treat of a glass of gong cha melon milk tea which is the house specialty. I added pudding jelly as my topping and guess how it tastes??? It is super good. Oh my, I just feel like drinking at chewing another glass but too bad I was already on my way when I first sipped it. xD One thing that I dislike about the place is the person who serve me. His bossy attitude does not suit the shop at all. I think he might be just a part timer.
I ordered the Gong Cha Green Milk Tea which costs $3.50 with the ai-yu toppings. I ordered 30% sugar level which tasted a little sweet though it was the lowest sugar level available. I like the top layer of milk. There are three ways of drinking the bubble tea as stated on the sticker of the cup. The service was quick and we waited for about 10 minutes though there were many people in front of us.Spending: Approximately SGD 3.50(Tea)
I\'ve always drank the earl grey milk tea w/ herbal jelly from Gong Cha, but recently decided to try something new. Previously, I had not really fancied their signature cream milk on top of their drinks, but my friend recommended the Gong Cha Milk Alisan Tea, so I just decided to give it a go~ To my surprise, it was really good, and simply refreshing! The cream milk on top was to my liking, and their Alisan tea is something to be proud of, as it has a light, aromatic, sweet flavour, and I thoroughly enjoyed my drink! I\'ve drank it several times after that day Do try it with herbal jelly and at a level of 30% sugar, it seems to give the optimum taste Spending: Approximately SGD 3
I especially love any food with honey . As Gong Cha has honey green tea, so it naturally became my favorite drink . its sweet and cooling especially after exercising and perspiring. It is SGD 2.50 which is affordable in my opinion. The service is friendly and they serve in order giving receipts with code numbers to identify our orders.Spending: Approximately SGD 2.50(Other)
Bought PP Tea with Ai yu Jelly at SimeiEastpoint mall. I love to order their red tea with ai yu jelly ! It was just so nice and refreshing especially when you are thirsty ! The white pearls are mucheasier to digest than the normal black pearls. I would suggest bubble tea lovers to give it a try for the white pearls and you will get to know what i meant about white pearls are better than black pearls ! Spending: Approximately SGD 3.50
Brought a cup of new drink - Mango green tea with Aiyu jelly. The mango blends very well with the green tea to give a very refreshing taste. The Aiyu jelly was well cooked, soft texture. Other drinks such as strawberry black tea are also recommended. Service was acceptable, price was very reasonable, waiting time vary from 5 mins to around 15 mins for non and peak hours respectively.
After finishing shopping and dinner-ing at Citysquare, I walked around aimlessly... after which i passby Gong Cha and i planned to buy it since i didn\'t order any drinks while having my dinner. As usual, i bought milk tea with pudding instead of pearls. as i afraid the pearls will make me grow fat ! therefore i change it to pudding. The pudding is so much better compared to the pearls. As pudding does not taste as sweet as the pearls However, i still love both milk tea with pearls or pudding ! As i am bubble tea lovers ! No matter which is which i will still continue to support Gong cha !!! ^^
Title Citreon Juice with Kjelly($3.2) Comment I do not like the Citreon juice. It is too sour for me. Grade /5Title Lemon Roast MelonTea with pearl ($2.8) Comment I think I will not buy this drink again. I do think that the Melon Tea is quite nice, the combination of the lemon and the melon tea is quite match too, but inside the drink, there are some roast lemon that makes me feel very irritating. Moreover, the bubbles are not as tasty and chewy as KOI. Grade /5 Spending: Approximately SGD 3(Other)
It\'s bubble tea again..! This time,i try on Gong Cha. The queue is so long, finally is my turn.I like the Melon Tea,the combination of the lemon and the melon tea make me feel fresh. It\'s quite nice. But i more prefer if they dint put the roast lemon inside because it\'s not very nice. The pearl is quite hard, not chewy as Koi,but it is still ok.I not really like the Citreon juice, maybe it is too sour..??? But it is quite ok. I like the jelly also.Passion fruit smell is quite strong,so the drink is a bit sour. Maybe my sugar level is 50% only,i think 80% will be better. Spending: Approximately SGD 2.8
Bought milk oolong tea from gong cha at sembawang outlet. I think the drink is not bad. i also ordered herbal jelly.Overall, i think the drink taste normal. Perhaps i didnt ordered their house special therefore i couldn\'t have the best taste experience from Gong Cha. I think the gong cha is thoughtful to allow their customers to choose the sugar level. This allows them to pay conscious to their sugar level and they will feel less guilty upon drinking.
My friend and I were so happy when Gong Cha opened at outlet here since it was very near to our workplace where we are interning at. The queue at 3sth in the afternoon wasn\'t that long as compared to during the lunch hour. I got the normal milk tea while my friend got the alisan tea. I forgot to get them to add the pearls, which made my drink less enjoyable. I guess bubble tea isn\'t bubble tea without the pearls. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed it a lot. I ordered 30% sugar which was just right for me. Next time, I would like to try 0% sugar.
I passed by Gong Cha recently and finally gave in to my temptation to try one of their bubble tea. I ordered the Passion Fruit Green Tea for $2.50. The sweetness of the bubble tea was at just the right level and the pearl was chewy and just right. The staff one service was quick and efficient despite the queue and I was rather impressed at the speed at which they made their bubble tea. i would recommend this Gong Cha to anyone who would like to try drinking bubble tea (:Spending: Approximately SGD 2
I love bubble tea. I will usually get a cup when i want a little extra after lunch or dinner. While waiting for my friend here, i decided to get a cup. Gong Cha is one of the 2 favorite brands that i will go for. I am a simple girl and i usually go with my usual favorite. My usual favorite is none other than green tea with pearls. My prefer sweetness level is always at 75%. All drinks are served in regular sized cups. It would definitely be better if they have a bigger cup just like those in Hong Kong. Anyway, i love the chewiness of those pearls. It is always a joy eating them. This is a less popular brand as compared to the other brand so the waiting time is always pretty short. Recommended.
There are many varieties of tea selection and toppings at Gong Cha. My favourite drink is Camellia tea with white crystal jelly. It costs $2.70 for a cup and I think it is worth the money. They allow you to choose your sugar level and I ordered mine with 20%. It is very refreshing and cooling for the body.Spending: Approximately SGD 2.70(Other)
I have tried Macha Milk With Azuki Bean. First time trying, I found it not bad. The first mouth I can tasted the milk, as you drank further, you can tasted the green tea. The milk goes well with the green tea and its not overly sweet. Other than that, the pearl was good. It was on the softer side, slightly chewy and not overly huge. It had a subtle sweetness and was pretty good. Their Azuki Bean was really fresh and sweet. I really like the green tea taste from the milk.
Gong Cha is one of my favourite bubble tea drinks! Comparable to Koi. When I first drank their house special Gong Cha, I was immediately struck by it. The milky foam is thick and sweet and creamy. And when mixed together with the green tea and chewy white pearls, the combination is irresistable!
I went bugis street shopping with my friends and while heading home we notice a Gong Cha store at one corner. We were quite surprise as we dun expect Gong cha to have a small store at this area. We ordered jasmine pearl milk tea, red pearl milktea and choclate milk tea. The price is reasonable per cup only cost $2.50. The jasmine milk tea taste great. But i dun like the choclate milk tea as the choclate is too thick and bitter. The milk taste weird when mix with the tea.Spending: Approximately SGD 2.50
Gong Cha sells quite a number of healthy drinks! They call it the ‘health drink’. I particularly liked the. It is abit more pricey compared to the other usual drinks, but I think its really a value for money considering the quality of ingredients. Their Azuki Beans is really fresh and sweet. I absolutely love the green tea taste from the milk Spending: Approximately SGD 4
Although it was not my first time drinking Gong Cha, it was not easy to decide what to drink…just too many choices >.< It may cost a bit expensive on the whole, but felt it was worth the buy once in a while.Chose the Calpis green tea in the end.(: Me and my friends were not sure how Calpis taste, but I chose it as it looks nice on the photo. And gladly, it really taste as niceI also added the ai-yu jelly, which is a plus point for the drink. Most of the time when I ordered from Gong Cha, I would add ai-yu jelly if the drink has no chewing texture;D I love the jelly smooth texture and taste, simply just love the Calpis green tea with ai-yu jelly
this is red milk tea with grass jelly topping. I like to drink red tea but I never try of adding milk before. I\'m a regular customer of gong cha and each time I visit gong cha, I feel like trying this but I\'m not sure whether I can accept this taste or not. But never try, never know. Finally I decided to try and it really out of my expectation. It taste extremely good with no weird taste at all. Now I like it very much and will definitely introduce to gong cha\'s lover.
To be honest, I couldn’t really taste the difference between Gong Cha and KOI. I’m not sure if it’s just me, but Gong Cha’s black pearls seem to be slightly smaller than KOI bubble tea’s. But if it comes down to the best bubble tea in Singapore, I’d probably choose KOI cafe over Gong Cha Bubble tea. The difference between Koi\'s milk tea and Gong Cha\'s is that Gong Cha\'s provides more variety of mile teas and also there are numerous topping from selection, starting from the pearl, pudding jelly, grass jelly. It is not that you can only choose 1 topping for each drink. You can even put all the toppings inside your drinks but I would not recommend that since it will be weird. xD However, the House signature; Gong Cha Melon Milk Tea and the Gong Cha Alisan Milk Tea are a must try for those who seek a different taste from KOI Cafe. I myself love those 2 milk tea with additional pudding jelly.
GONG CHA HOUSE SPECIAL. Gong cha is one of the popular drink stall in our neighbourhood. It\'s from taiwan and personally, i quite like it.I think the drink is quite nice and it has alot of varieties. That day, i tired their house special. There\'re 5 types of house specials. Namely - Alisan Tea, Green Tea, Black Tea, Oolong Tea and Melon Tea. All of them comes with gong cha milk on top and you\'re suppose to mix it while drinking. It\'s around $2.50 each and you can also top up with their toppings. I like aiyu jelly and herbal jelly the best, it\'s good for sore throat too! If you don\'t want something too sweet, you can just buy the tea or add with fruit syrup. Spending: Approximately SGD 2.50(Other)
Located at the basement of Suntec City, maybe because the few times i went is almost to closing time and that\'s the reason the queue is not there but among the different outlets of Gong Cha that i had been, this is the first time i come across Gong Cha with siting areas.they have 2 rows of tables that can easily sit at least 15 people.Nice simple table and chairs in white and we can sit there even after the shop is closed as they don\'t chase you away but perhaps the security from Suntec will if we stay past midnight! Standards of drinks here and serving are pretty much the same as i enjoy my favourite plum green tea.Spending: Approximately SGD 2.60(Other)
Situated at the corner basement,no matter how out of way the location is(because i had been walking round and round basement before i finally found the shop),there is never shortage of queue but compare to their outlet, waiting time was not long and if there are many customers, the walkway will be jammed as it\'s narrow. Plum green tea at$2.50 with pearl at 30 cents is my favourite. Spending: Approximately SGD 2.80
My son got this drink for me since he is also placing his order for his favourite caramel milk tea. I am easy with most drinks, so he got the milk tea with pearl for me, at 25% sugar level since I do not take too sweet drinks. I think this costs $2.50. The drink was not bad, it is quite fragrent and it has a refreshing milky taste. The pearls are also above average, it is soft and slighty chewy. The queue on a weekday is relatively faster, we got our drinks within 10minutes of waiting.Spending: Approximately SGD 2.50
There\'s alway\'s long queue waited for at lease 25mins for my gong cha I like gongcha for their normal tea but not their milk tea Ordered their milk tea & find that the fresh milk cream is too creamy & sweet the milk taste is too strong too so i perfect their normal tea without milk is Great !! Spending: Approximately SGD 2.40(Tea)
If you ever walk pass gong cha at plaza singapura, you definitely have to get a drink there. The tea over there is a must try! What\'s more, there are variety of jelly to choose from. The best of all is the white pearl jelly! Service wise so-so. The thing I dislike most about them, is that they will do up to 3 "number" of drink before serving the first cup.
Have not tried the red bean before. I would recommend their jelly. If you like to try something new other than pearl, their jelly will be a good choice. You can choose the sweetness of your drink too. Normally I will get the 50 or 80 % one.
this is winter melon milk tea with grass jelly topping. I like to drink winter melon tea but I never try of adding milk before.
I\'ve been a loyal fan of Gong Cha for quite some time already, so let me share some of my recommendations! Firstly, my ultimate favourite drink there is... EARL GREY MILK TEA! It is so delightful, rich in its earl grey flavour, and is available at a reasonable price of $2.40. I find that adding in either Ai-Yu jelly, herbal jelly or white pearls into the drink is simply bliss. Certainly adds to the quality of the drink. Of course, for an authentic taste of earl grey, do order it without sugar. Trust me, it doesn\'t taste bland! It\'s real good. Secondly, I would recommend their Melon Tea with white pearls, which is great! At first, I thought it would be weird, since I had never had it before, and also it was listed as a \'Health Tea\'. But, after one sip, it changed my impression of melon tea, forever. Marvellous!
The grapefruit juice with white pearl and ai-yu jelly at gong cha was nice.(: I ordered the grapefruit juice individually and additionally added the white pearl and ai-yu jelly. The grapefruit juice and the chewy ai-yu jelly was nice. I just found I don’t really like the white pearl. Previously I tried before their purple plum tea with ai-yu jelly and it was also not bad. What I like about gong cha was that there is a lot of additional ingredients we can add into our drink Although the price was higher than other beverages available, I felt it was ok to treat yourself a good drink once in a while.
i was shopping around with my children when we got really thirsty. We decided to order some beverages but could not decide what drink. When we spotted a gong cha, we did not hesitate to join the queue. I ordered their earl grey milk tea, my daughter ordered the oolong milk tea and my son ordered the normal milk tea. We shared the three flavours, the oolong milk tea is a little bitter, the normal milk tea is very milky. I still found my earl grey one refreshing. The tea taste is very fragrant as compared to the normal and oolong ones.
I am a fan of bubble tea. Are you too? And which is your favorite brand? While waiting for my movie to start, i decided to get myself something cold and nice while i wait. It has to be a drink from Gong Cha. Gong Cha is one of my usual favorites. The other favorite is none other than Koi. There is a fascinating choice of drinks for selection but i always go for my usual green tea with pearls or coconut jelly. I always go for 75% level of sugar level which gives it a right balance of sweetness. And, i enjoyed the chewiness of the pearls. Recommended.
i passed by gong cha and I was feeling kind of thirsty, so I decided to order a drink. Gong cha has a lot of drinks for selection. I was spoilt for choice so I ordered their earl grey milk tea with herbal jelly. The herbal jelly is very cooling, just nice for me, I have been eating too much heaty food. The earl grey milk tea is not too sweet as compared to the normal milk tea. So I was very satisfied with the drink.
Gong cha is one of my favourite bubble tea. I love to order their milk green tea with white pearl. The white pearls unlike the normal black pearls have a harder texture. It is still chewy but not as chewy as the black ones. The black pearls are made from tapioca flour but the white one isn’t. I like my drink 30% sweet as I find their 50% sugar level too sweet for me.
i get to know this brand when i was in hongkong was only 10 or 12hkd only, bubble tea in singapore was really damn expensive i find that is quite unique cause of the milk & green tea powder usually bubble tea they won\'t have green tea powder on top but i don\'t know why the tea in singapore taste so difference i seriously don\'t like the milk,it have a bad smell recently my friend recommend me to try winter melon tea with white pearl & i think is not bad,tea a bit sweet but white pearl was very chewing
It\'s been a while since the returned of bubble tea, the craze has slightly reduced but nevertheless, a steady stream of crowds can still be seen queuing for this also very famous gong cha. People always like to compare Gong Cha with Koi, but in my opinion, both have their own uniqueness. Under the hot blazing sun, it\'s truly refreshing to have a cup of this icy cold Lemon Roast Melon Tea with Pearl Jelly. The lemon and melon combination is surprisingly well matched. Not too sour and not too sweet and with my favourite chewy pearls, I feel charged up once again. Spending: Approximately SGD 2.50(Tea)
I bought gong cha back for my family, to save me the trouble of ordering. I ordered all the same flavours, Earl grey milk tea with pearls. Earl grey milk tea is less sweeter than their normal milk tea. It is very smooth and does not leave an after taste. The pearls are very chewy. Provides a constrast in texture.
I love gong cha! They have a large variety of toppings. I love their pudding and herbal jelly so I always order their ear grey milk tea with 3js which includes two of my favourite plus black pearl. The earl grey tea is not too sweet and is very smooth. the pudding is on the sweet side so it goes well with the milk tea.
My sister came home with gong cha for me. She said I have been drinking too much tea so she bought me grapefruit juice with white pearls with zero percent sugar level. Despite it being zero percent it still had some sweetness. Quite healthy I guess... The white pearl makes the drink taste lighter and it is very chewy...
milk tea with ai yu jelly topping. I will suggest to order less ice or even no ice with 50-80% sugar level. This milk tea is very smooth and fragrance. The milk taste is not so strong but mix well with the tea. The ai yu jelly is in Q texture. There are many choices for topping up and comes with different price.
Seems like all Gong Cha outlets have queues, this outlet is no difference to the others as well. Every time I pass by this outlet, I see queues and the wait seems to be longer than other outlets I had been to, such as the Tampines Central. I always like to have Earl Grey Milk Tea with Brown Sugar Crystal Jelly, as I love the chewy-ness of the brown sugar crystal jellies and I am so used to the taste of the earl grey milk tea. I had influenced my brother to this drink as well. I had tried Taro milk as well, but I felt that it will be too much of taro taste after I drank 3/4 of it, hence the earl grey is still my best choice. My hubby likes to have Milk Tea with Ai-yu jelly. He likes the ai-yu jelly that no other bubble tea chain has. The Ai-yu jelly at other chain either are too hard or it has a lemon flavor. He just like how Gong Cha has done theirs, plain and soft, which goes well with the milk tea. Spending: Approximately SGD 3(Tea)
Bubble Tea is all in the craze again! And one of the most popular stalls recently is Gong Cha. It has introduced bubble tea lovers to a new kind of bubble altogether! And the new breed is called the white pearls. Though they have been seen before, they have not been integrated into bubble tea before and so, this has hit off a craze for the white pearled bubble tea at gong cha
The first time i heard of gong cha, I was like \'oh no, why is the craze of bubble tea back again?! All over again!\' But when I tried it, I fell back in love with bubble tea. I especially love their white pearl jelly! Its very refreshing, there isnt much taste with the pearls, but they are rather \'crunchy\', or do you call it chewy? haha! It just feels very much different from the common black pearls. I love their earl grey milk tea, you can really taste the flavour of the tea leaves! Double thumbs up for Gong Cha
This bubble tea store is always crowded with people, especially during lunch and dinner hours. Lucky for me, I was there during the off-peak period and I didn\'t have to queue. I got myself a green tea with white pearls, 50% sugar. It was just nice and good. The tea aroma was rich and a quick fix to my thirst! I have a friend who told me not to order bubble from Gong Cha at this outlet as she once did and the staff gave her a cup with 70% ice cubes, all she got was a few mouthfuls. At least that didn\'t happen to me, maybe that was just a bad experience for her.
First encounter with Gong Cha was during my 3 weeks\' stay at Hong Kong 2 years ago. I was pretty excited when i gotta know Gong Cha is opening in Singapore. The pity is only a regular size for all type of drinks is served here. This time, i ordered a Camellia Tea with Coconut Jelly for $2.60. I wanted a 100% sweetness but it tasted a little too sweet for me. This was my 2nd cup of Gong Cha from this same outlet. It was overly sweet for the first time too. I shall bear in mind not to order it at 100% sweetness again and perhaps at 80% will do just fine. If i am gonna compare this to KOI, my choice would be KOI at anytime.Spending: Approximately SGD 2.60
Of all bubble tea stores, I prefer Gong Cha best simply because of the variety of drinks they have on the menu and the taste of the drinks. As usual, I like to order Camomile tea with 30% sugar and crystal jelly. It costs $2.70 per cup. 30% sugar level is just right, without being too sweet. The service staff are very efficient, therefore the queue always clears very quickly at Junction 8.Spending: Approximately SGD 2.70(Other)
i was shopping around novena square with my mother when we got really thirsty from lunch. I remembered my friend telling me that there was a branch of gong cha here at novena square 2. So we went there and hunt down the shop. We walked and walked but we could not find the shop. In the end, it ended to be outside the building near a drop off point. Very isolated. But maybe because of their location, there was totally no queue at all and we need not wait for long before our drinks very made. I was very satisfied, I ordered my grapefruit juice with white pearl. Totally thirst quenching!
As I am a fan of Gong Cha, I have visited most of their outlets in Singapore. However, the outlet at Scape has the worst service. They take very long to process the orders and often get orders wrong. There was once whereby my order was missed out and I waited for close to 15 minutes when the store is not even crowded. I hope that they can improve on their service especially when this is situated in town.
This outlet of gong cha is slightly hard to find because it is located outside of the mall instead of within it. It was only when i wanted to take a shuttle bus and went through that particular exit did i realised there is a gong cha outlet here. I have yet to decide if i really like the type of special milk tea with foam on top. It is after all, their signature tea. But i love my normal milk tea too much. I tried the alishan milk tea with white pearls, which taste very different from the black ones. It is not as chewy and just so slightly crunchy in a sense. I guess i did not stir it well cause the milk taste just simply overwhelm towards to end.
I have heard of white jelly pearls however I had not tried it before so I bought a cup of milk tea adding an extra fifty cents for the white pearls. Service was fast as there wasn\'t a queue when I was there. Requesting for sugar level at eighty percent, my milk tea was still quite sweet. The white pearls were jelly-ish and crunchy. They are much easier to digest than the black ones. I enjoyed the milk tea together with a new found love-white jelly pearls.
I love how they have different toppings for us to choose from, making a simple drink different with each topping. This time, I added pudding to the milk tea. The pudding is quite sweet, thus it is advised not to order the milk tea with a sugar level too high. The pudding gives a little caramel flavor to the milk tea, giving it a little added sweetness and fragrance. A very unique combination I think.
Gong Cha has became one of my favorite bubble tea shop around, and i will always queue for it whenever i see it around. I ordered back the same milk tea with herbal jelly, which is what i normally have. Same great milk tea taste and jelly for the texture. Not exactly the bitter type of herbal jelly, but not the normal tasteless kind of glass jelly too. Still, i would order with 50% instead of my normal 30%. This outlet is located just right outside plaza sing, with plenty of tables and chairs to go around for customers to hang around and enjoy the drink. While i appreciates the seats available, the location leaves much to be desired. I suffered quite a few mosquito bites in the 15 minutes there.Spending: Approximately SGD 2.80
I was having dinner at S11 when i noticed that there was a gong cha outlet and there are no queue at all. And i bought it out of impulse since i had planned to get Koi, which is nearby too. The residents there are so fortunate to have both koi and gong cha in their vicinity. I got the normal milk tea at 30% sugar level with pudding. (Addition of $0.50, which is fine with me)That is my newest addiction, ever since i went taiwan realised most of the bubble tea shop in taiwan do sells it that way. The pudding is soft and sweet, thus there is no need for much sugar syrup to be added to the milk tea. It brings out the taste of the milk tea better without all the sugar. In addition, it provides an alternative to the normal black pearls.
This time is the Alisan Milk Tea, their signature milk tea. I added the white pearls to give it a try. I think their signature milk tea is really special. The tea taste is not too strong. I ordered the drink at 50% sugar level and maybe this is why the milk foam on the top was a little too sweet for me. After mixing it a little, the taste of the tea was brought to another level. The white pearls are better than the normal black pearls. They are not as chewy, but with a little crunchiness. Slightly chewy and slightly crunchy, I think you will have to give it a try to know what am I talking about.
Gong cha is one of the more prominent bubble tea shops around and there is always a long queue no matter what time of the day. I guess with the number of customers, service is sure to drop even though there are a lot of staffs working. Ordered milk tea with pearls, 30% and milk tea with jelly 50%. The cup which is supposed to be 30% sweetness level taste more like 80% somehow, since it is much more sweeter than the one with 50% level. We went back to change and told them that they had give us the wrong order. They changed for us but still give us the irritated look. On the other hand, the quality of milk tea is indeed one of the better ones. So even with the bad service, i guess i will still go back for it. Just not the vivo outlet.
My favorite drink from here is milk tea with herbal jelly for now, until I get sick of it and try a new drink. The stall here is not very crowded as compared to KOI just nearby. Probably most of the crowd went there instead. The queue moves quite quickly with the fast service. The jelly is very smooth and goes very well with the milk tea. I like my drink not too sweet and thus ordered it with 30% sugar. It has only a hint of sweetness, not recommended for those with a sweet tooth.
It is longan red dates milk tea with brown crystals jelly from ‘Gong Cha’ bubble tea shop. I not really like the texture for the brown crystals jelly. It is slightly chewy. I could not adjust the sweetness level for this milk tea, however the sweetness just nice for me. I like the flavour of longan and red dates.
Plum green tea with konjac jelly. It is very nice although it is slightly sour. The jellies were chewy and crunchy The tea taste a bit bitter without any sugar masking the real fragrance of the tea leaves so what I like most about Gong Cha is that I am able to choose the level of sweetness for my drink (0%, 30%, 50% and 100%) Spending: Approximately SGD 3(Night Snack)
Gong Cha Oolong Milk Tea with white pearl. It has a strong oolong fragrance; it is neither too bitter nor too sweet. It blended nicely together with the milk which has a stronger taste than black tea. There are even instructions on how to drink their signature drink. I really like this drink and this is much nicer than the one I tried previously, Cuppa. At the end of the drink, the milk froth is so rich and really sinful. Try it and you will understand what i meant here. Spending: Approximately SGD 3(Tea)
I have never been crazy about milk tea even after hearing about the craze about Koi and Gongcha. I would love to give it a try but the long queue usually turn me away. I happened to be at this new Gongcha outlet where the queue was pretty short so decided to give the oolong milk tea a try. I opted for 50% sugar as oolong tea is bitter in nature. There was a distinct layer between the tea and milk but as I brought it home, it got mixed up a little but you could see two layers from the picture. When I first saw the drink, it look like teh-cino (a beverage commonly found in prata shop). The sweetness is just right and the tea is very fragrant and smooth. There was quite a lot of pearl too and they have a very good bite. The average waiting time is less than 15mins. However, I still think I will not go crazy over it.
Tried the alisan milk tea after recommendation from a friend. The tea is topped with a layer of foamy milk which is quite different from KOI\'s macchiato. The milk was more foamy and did not have any sweet taste, just a strong milky taste. Tea also had a very strong roasted taste which I would have enjoyed more if it was served hot and without milk. Pearls were chewy and serving wad in abundance.
Having my dinner at S11 with my family. My hubby noticed there is an new outlet of Gong Cha just beside. So we ordered passionfruit juice with CK Jelly. The drink made me feel so refreshing even though eating some oily food just now. It helps to digest and clear my stomach with this juice. Luckily not many people queneing at this new outlet, if not i can\'t ask my family to wait for me for just a drink
So this Gong Cha was opened really recently! This is my second time trying Gong Cha and I believe Koi and Gong Cha are still the current two strongest opponents. I ordered the house green milk tea but another version (stronger in taste, not caffeine, the staff said). It took about 10 minutes for my drink to be done and when it was, I noticed that instead of the usual slip-on plastic lid done by the machine, they gave me a plastic pop-out plastic lid and the milk and green tea were also separated, I was supposed to either enjoy it like that or I had to mix it on my own, I chose the latter. My preferred sugar level was 30%, the lowest on the menu, but I guess for some who still find it sweet, they could have a special order to have a lower percentage than 30. Overall, I found it to be just normal, nothing ordinary... it\'s just the bubble tea crave.Spending: Approximately SGD 2.80(Tea)
Gong Cha Vs KOI Cafe, both of them always have to quene for their drinks. After drinking Gong Cha, its was so refreshing. Gong Cha provided some flavours which KOI Cafe do not have it. Basically more healthy drink, example: Lemon Roast Melon Tea. After having lunch/dinner, its good to come along with a cup of Gong Cha drink
I\'m not sure whether I should blame or thank my colleague. It was her who introduced to my first Gong Cha and ever since, I am hooked onto it. My first order was matcha with azuki beans and I fell in love with it immediately. One get to choose the sugar level for the drink and the toppings as well. There is also a wide variety for one to choose from and one would definitely be spoilt for choices! Spending: Approximately SGD 4(Other)
Gong Cha oolong tea and alisan milk tea. It was pretty cooling and smooth. Delicious! No wonder the queue is always there. Their pearls are chewy and soft too. Not bad as compared to Koi! Didn\'t really like oolong tea though. Shall stick to the original milk tea in future =)
Visited different branches, quality stays throughout every branch. Service is average. Their milk tea is smooth, not too sweet with 75% sugar, chewy pearls and I would recommend white pearl jelly and black crystal jelly However, the size of the bubble tea is slightly smaller than normal, thus more costly than other bubble tea stalls. If you love a variety of flavors to choose from, be filled with choices If you love a variety choices of toppings, it\'s a place for you If you love milk tea, try Gongcha\'s pearl milk tea Give a try, it\'s rather addictive! Spending: Approximately SGD 2.50
Tried Melon Milk Tea. It was like my second cup of Gong Cha for the day. Haha. A lot of my friends don’t exactly like the super creamy milk on top of the tea but I love it so much! It’s so smooth and rich and creamy, yums. Anyway, I thought melon means honeydew, but apparently this melon refers to winter melon. It was a little like drinking winter melon tea in a can. I don’t know how much sugar we had cos the lady didn’t ask. Tsk. It was quite sweet so I think, 80%? As usual, we had aiyu jelly! (:

I was looking for a drink that was light and refreshing after my gym workout and so the Camelia Tea (茶花绿茶) at Gong Cha attracted me to buy. As the name suggests, it's floral tea blend with green tea.

I felt refreshed after just a few sips of the tea. Not sure what flower they mixed into the green tea, but it was very nice! Thumbs up!

Gong Cha's taro milk tea tastes better than Rockery's Taro green milk tea.It has a rich taro original taste and although it is abit sweet but still can taste the original taro milk tea.

Though the price is $3 plus which is more expensive than Rockery, but the taste is definitely better!Highly recommended!Thumbs up!

I used to go to the Amore gym at City Square & hence discovered this bubble tea joint at B2 of City Square.

Their speciality drink is the 功夫奶茶 (gongfu nai cha) which I enjoy very much. The milk froth is on top instead of being mixed into the tea.

My other favourite is the Citreon Juice with K Jelly. It's actually Yuzu Cha wif many of the fruit bits & K Jelly in the drink for u to chew. Very worthwhile drink to take at $2.90 a cup

When I first saw this shop at City Square Mall B2, I was overwhelmed by the amount of people queuing up for this bubble tea. I was thinking to myself, "Not another KOI?" But looking at the queue, I was enticed to queue up as well being the typical Singaporean.

The best choice to look at a bubble tea shop was to order their milk tea, you could taste how good or bad it was. But being a very careless self, I ordered "Nai Gai Hong Cha" thinking that it was my typical cup of milk tea. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that my drink appeared with have milk on top, instead of being defused in it! (Refer to photograph below.) There was a small sticker with instructions on it on how one should drink it. You simply drink the milk together with the tea, without mixing it. The milk is somewhat special, not like your typical milk. It's not too sweet, yet not too overwhelming as well. The pearls of the tea was also chewy and sweet, and I really like it a lot.

For all the time you spend queuing up for KOI, you can get many cups of Gong Cha. It's definitely worth it!

This bubble tea store is from Taiwan, Kao Hsiung. They have all kinds of tea like Oolong Tea, Alishan Tea, Black Tea, Roasted Melon Tea etc. We can choose the level of sugar that we want just like KOI!

I have tried the Han Tian Ai Yu Drink.

Ai Yu is a kind of ice jelly from Taiwan. This drink is mixed with lemon juice and white chewy pearl! It's really refreshing. I prefer this Ai Yu than KOI one. Not too sour. (If you try Koi Ai Yu, you will know what I mean.)

Prefer their non-milk drinks!~!~ Shall try their Milk Tea soon!~!~

Like KOI, Gong Cha also originates from Taiwan and each has their own loyal fans.

Gong Cha Ali Shan Milk Tea ($2.40) is their signature and what sets it apart from KOI’s version is that frothy milk is added on top after the tea is brewed instead of blending it together. The result is a creamier texture that lingers in the mouth which I’m not too crazy about.

Though no sugar is added, I find the Korean Citron Jelly with Konnyaku Jelly ($2.90) too sweet cuz of the candied peels.

The best out of the lot is Lemon Juice with White Pearl & Ai-Yu Jelly ($3.40)! Bitter, sweet and sour all in one sip. And I’m particularly partial towards Ai-Yu jelly =)
