This is a great spot for a romantic walk, kite-flying or simply enjoying the scenic view.

Opened in 2008, Marina Barrage is Singapore’s 15th reservoir & the first urban reservoir in the heart of the city. With a catchment area of 10,000 hectares, or one-sixth the size of Singapore, the Marina catchment is the island’s largest and most urbanised catchment. Together with two other new reservoirs, the Marina Reservoir has increased Singapore’s water catchment from half to two-thirds of the country’s land area.

The Bay is a great place for sports, leisure and recreational activities. Its green roof has also become a hotspot for kite-flying, picnics and wedding photography. You can also enjoy a picnic at sunset, explore the Sustainable Singapore Gallery or cycle around the area to work up a sweat on your next weekend out. Oh, The Sunset there is absolutely magnificent in the evening and it is surely worth a visit just.
