It was a refreshing turn from the numerous brunches that we had recently, and it was a welcoming one to be frank.We recently changed our eating habits, preferring small portions in a wider variety rather than wolfing down the mains. With that in mind, we ordered their well publicized High Tea Set ($19.95). We had a choice between a seafood and a non-seafood set, we chose the former. Everything came in bite-sized portion which was friendly to our palates, without getting bored/tired of a single item. The items included grilled prawn cocktail, smoked salmon crostini, foie gras taster, turkey ham and pineapple crostini and bruschetta. In general, these were not really fantastic but they were not too bad also. I am sitting on the fence for this one! For sweets, again, we had a choice between 3 miniature cakes and 2 English scones. We opted for the later, which were quite the perfect scones! They crumbled in your mouth with every bite and they were really sweet. Well complimented with a slab of butter. For beverage, we had Tea Cosy Premium coffee which really was so-so. Nothing too impressive here.Being a mushroom fan, I could not let myself pass on their Baked Mushrooms ($11.95), which was one of their signature dishes. Each mushroom had melted parmesan cheese and they were baked to perfect succulence. Really heavenly this!The Clam Chowder Soup ($8.95) was not the usual cream based one. On the contrary, it was rather light and not too thick. We really liked the generous servings of finely diced clams thrown in. I am not sure if I would recommend their high tea set but their signature dishes are a must try. If you enjoy dining at a quiet place in a shopping mall, this could be the ideal place for you to do so after some retail therapy.

I walked in and thought it was a beautiful gift shop. No! It sells food. I was surprised and held very high hopes given the peaceful classy environment. True enough, the high tea set was very pretty, mini and decently priced at $19.95. The fingers food set is nice; everything came in bite-sized portion which was friendly to our palates, without getting bored/tired of a single item Good high tea set, very cozy indeed. Tea cozy, I\'ll be back!

This restaurant has one of the most classic and beautiful decoration in it.I have tried their two tiers high tea set and was quite impressed by the presentation as well as the quality of the foods serve to me too.Slices of chocolate brownies and butter cake are placed on the tier shelving which both are soft and moist, not too hard and not too sweet.Mini scoon of mushroom is included as well,which are quite crispy on the crust and the mushroom fillings are quite tasty too.A big pot of English tea is presented to me which the tea is fragrant and smell really good.The seats here are really comfortable and I believe the price which we have paid here is really worth it.

Tea Cozy is a very nice place to meet up with your friends and enjoy a leisurely afternoon out. I was here with my good friend over tea and we ordered the Ebony & Ivory, Baked Mushrooms and the sakura green tea. While the ebony and ivory is good, I was hoping for something more exciting. Perhaps it would be better if the chocolate sauce is more decadent and has more cocoaflavour. The baked mushrooms was awesome, and all mushroom lovers should definitely order this. The sakura green tea is delightfully sweet with a a light flora scent. Overall, I enjoyed my afternoon there with the nice ambience and above average food.

An ideal place to catch up with friends - this is how I would describe this lovely cafe. From outside, this place looks more like a place which sells figurines. If not for the fact that a poster of the menu is placed outside the cafe, I believe many people will not know that it is a place for dining. Ordered the smoked salmon toasties ($14.95) and scones ($7.95) which taste good. Personally, I love the way in which the scones are served (as shown in picture).

It is a great venue for having a meal or hi-tea with your gal friends. The restaurant was devcorated with lots of angels and it was really a beautiful place to chat with friends. The food presentation was very elegant and pretty. The teapot, tea cup and saucer used for the tea we ordered were so pretty. We loved the baked mushrooms, it was grilled/toasted to perfection, smells great and taste great too! Another signature dish that was commendable is the Laksa pasta, it was a great fushion of food. The tandoori chicken wrap was also a great meal. We also ordered the afternoon tea set, the minature cakes were just average.

this place is good for tea time and light food .. such as dessert.. cakes.. and bread with friends as you can see. there are a variety of them. Bread with ham.. cheese cakes.. some sort of light dish.. so on and forth. Tea is good. the environment is nice too.

Surrounded by tons of Angel Figurines and deco, Tea Cosy is definitely every girls dream place to dine in!I personally tried both and I prefer the Lychee Breeze best as it is very smoothing & cooling while the peppermint cool (with marshmallows on top of it) taste just like milk powder with mint which is very awful. And here\'s my friend main dish : (The salad comes along with the Steak)I quite like the Steak as it is very well done(fresh & tender too) and the crispy potato with it is so tasty that I crave for more immediately after my friend let me try the first slice! I highly recommend steak-lover to try their steak while the only flaws is with the salad bowl. The small bowl that they use is not ergonomics friendly at all and the veg tends to fall out every time when we attempt to pick the veg with our folks. Next up is this mushroom pasta which I love it to the max! The mushroom they use are all so big, fat and juicy that the whole pasta carries a very strong mushroom smell ~!!! Lastly, my \'Bangers\'(German sasuage) with mash potato & coleslaw :The mash potato is rather tasteless and I don\'t like the alfalfa sprouts at all which makes me feel like a cow chewing on raw grasses but the sasuage is quite good as you can see from my pix Overall, I really like the place, ambience and food and I can\'t wait to go back again to try their high tea sets on this sofa with my friend.

At first glance, the shop just looks like a vintage furniture store We took a seat at one of the tables,realised that everything is for sale, from the decorations on the table to the wooden benches that we were sitting on, Is quite interesting I ordered the duck pasta with sundried tomato sauce The sundried tomato sauce turned out to be a light cream sauce with diced sundried tomatoes.They were quite generous with the shredded duck, although the duck flavour was particularly strong. I really like the ambience here Overall i rate 8/10

Had tea at Tea Cosy. Ordered their brownie with ice cream. It has a very interesting name! - Ivory & Ebony. This was ideal for tea time as it was not too filling, if shared between 2 people. The nuts on the brownie made it more crunchy too. Great combinations! Absolutely enjoyed my tea time at Tea Cosy

This dish is brownies topped with vanilla ice cream and dribbled with chocolate syrup. It looks really good. The vanilla ice cream is good. It is not too creamy nor is it too sweet. The brownie is very chocolaty. It is very moist and not too hard. I like it with the nuts that topped the vanilla ice cream. However, this dessert is a little boring. All of the portions are the same, chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream. They should have a more varied range of flavours so that the consumer will not get sick towards the end.

This is the most delicious and required food to eat for tea. It does not taste like bread or biscuit. Like fifty fifty of each. The texture of the scones is just right, not too hard and not too soft. It also goes well with any tea. In these scones there are chocolate and raisins. The bad thing about these scones is that the scones are too big. I had a hard time biting it. They should reduce the size of the scones to bite-size. I highly recommend this when you visit Tea Cosy. The scones are served with honey and butter.

This is the lemon icing butter cupcake. It looks really pretty, very nicely decorated, but scary, with all the icing on top. Normally icing is too sweet and very sickening to eat. However, the icing in this cupcake is not too sweet and it is not very sickening to eat. There are many different flavours of cupcake like blueberry. The butter cupcake is very soft and very nicely baked. I highly recommend buying this when you visit Tea Cosy. You should also try the other flavours too.

This sausage is quite good. It is quite filling since it is very big portioned. The black pepper is just right, not too plain and not too hot. However, it is quite a lot for one to take in. Another bad thing is that the dish one has only sausages. There is no other food to accentuate or make the food better. Towards the end, I felt a little sick of the sausages. There is also very little salad provided. I highly recommend this for sausage lovers.

Me and my best friend always wanted to try the high tea at Tea Cosy, because the nice ambient and attractive high tea set. The set that we had called Tea Cosy Supreme high tea set andit consists of seafood or non seafood items, English scones or miniature cake and choices of beverage. Personally i love to have the English scones, baked mushroom, foie gras taster, with a pot of English breakfast tea.

(: the crispy piece of french loaf with the topping was just absolutely delicious! (: the non-seafood option included the foie gras, ham crostini and parmesan toast, as well as, baked mushroom which was flavoured with some really interesting spices and stuffed with some little goodie, and a crispy duck crostini. haha the crispy duck reminded me of ikan bilis! i also ordered a cup of tea cosy hot chocolate ($6.95). it was a nice thick velvety cup of chocolate, and guess what? topped with marshmallows! yummy! (: also, we got a plate of aglio olio ($12.95) to share among us. al dente penne drenched in olive oil with a generous amount of garlic and mushrooms, and a sprinkling of chili flakes. absolutely delicious! (: this is really an adorable place to have a meal in, with decent food. i loved the english tea, at about $15 a person if you order the set for 2 people, i think it gives a pretty good variety for you to chose from (:

I'm back at Tea Cosy again and this time with another friend. During my last visit, I had a set dinner which consists of 3 course meal. However, I had ala-carte this time round. I ordered a steak (medium well) & potatoes ($21.95) and luckily it came with a bowl of salad. At least, i dont feel so sinful & hearty after finishing the whole steak. Oh, I forgot to order baked mushrooms!! Anyway my friend's gastric was not doing well, so i didnt ordered any more food. My friend ordered the Pasta Arrabiata (Pan Grilled Prawns). I had this the other time and thus recommend this to my friend. However the sauce was quite oily compared to the one i had.

Well, i'm gonna bring my bf to Tea Cosy the next time round!

I've heard raves about this place being one of the best in Singapore for high tea, but was a bit concern about whether it'll be an ideal place for dinner as well, since we're about to patronize Plaza Singapura to catch Eat, Pray, Love after work on a Friday night.

On the outside, Tea Cosy looked unlike any other place in the mall, with a blend of retail therapy that offers angels and vintage furniture for sale as well as cosy dining with nicely crafted comfort food.

Initially, I thought Tea Cosy is just another pretty place without much regards for the quality of the food as most pretty places are, but surprise surprise, their food is as delicious as it is well-presented.

Take their Tea Cosy Peppermint Cool ($5.95) for our first example. Arriving with style in a martini glass, the drink was an interesting shade of baby blue with 4 colorful flower marshmallows floating on a bed of foam, contained by a glass rim of brown grainy sugar. It's arrival halted us in our conversations, as my girlfriends demanded to try out my drink. Hmmm, interesting strong taste of milk and peppermint, they all seem to agree.

Next came the Volcano Nachos ($10.95) which caused an eruption amongst four of us as we attack the corn chips and dipped it into the bed of melted cheese, salsa, guacamole, sour cream and jalapeno chillies. A definite crowd pleaser as it provides as with something to pick at while we waited for our main course and chatted about office woes.

The Tangy Tomato and Crabmeat Soup sounds delicious on the menu, but it was merely ordinary and nothing tangy about it. A waste of stomach space if you'll ask me. The Baked Mushrooms ($9.50)starter, on the other hand, is worth a mention. Bite-sized and addictive, it came in 10 pieces, topped with sun-dried tomato strips and melted Parmesan cheese and was quickly gobbled up in a matter of seconds.

For the main course, I had the Smoked Salmon and Prawn Salad ($13.95) which was nothing spectacular but overall still quite enjoyable. I even had room for their creme brulee, my favorite type of dessert!

Overall, I would say I'll definitely come back here again. It is indeed a piece of heaven in a crowded mall like Plaza Singapura.

I was taken away by the whole interior deco and these small cute pieces of porcelains which were displayed all around the restaurant. Oh, porcelains remind me of the figurines from 'precious moments'! While seated inside, i felt as if i've entered into another world of all things sweet and nice!

We have 2 appetizers to start off our dinner - Tangy Tomato and Crabmeat Soup & Baked Mushrooms. Well, baked mushroom really blow us away with its richness of cheese stuffed inside, and a tinge of mushroom taste. Although small in size, each piece will satisfy your tastebuds to the fullest. i recommend a maximum of 2 to 3 pieces so that you wont get bored of it. i'm a mushroom lover! Anyway, its their signature dish too, hence its a MUST-MUST try!

On the other hand, the soup was kinda overly sweet, hence we couldnt finish the whole bowl.

For drink, I had a 'Tea Cosy Peppermint Cool' - peppermint & milk served with marshmallows. To be honest, i thought it tasted a lil like cough syrup. But i finished it all. I just love the way it is - minty, refreshing, not-too-milky.

For my main course, i had 'Pasta Arrabiata' - Spicy tomato with a choice of Pan-grilled Prawns or Turkey Ham Slices. I chose Pan-grilled Prawns! I love the spicy tomato. To me, what makes a good pasta is the sauce. With a combination of spice and sweet, its tantalizing. You wont get bored eating it. I finished the whole plate.

i'll definitely back for a 2nd round to try out more tasty dishes! and not forgetting its desserts as well!
