Must try out this seafood restaurant...they uses only fresh and quality food...
Must try the "Vietnamese Crayfish"
The pad thai here (which is also known as their stir fry rice noodles) is one of their popular dish here. This is normallly a \'must order\' dish whenever I visit this Thai restaurant. The rice noodles is reallly smooth and not too tough. With lots of sliced green and red capasicums in it which give that extra crunchiness to this dish.Tender sliced chicken meats are also used in this dish which also too add in the slight sweetness from the meat. The portion is really generous and I usually share one plate with my friend.Do note not to over judge by its white appearance as it is quite spicy actually.Spending: Approximately SGD 8(Lunch)
Went to try the thai pan food as my friends and i heard a lots of positive feedback from our classmates after they went to try. They said the tom yum soup is a must order. And we did ordered the tom yum soup. It really tasted very nice!!! I love its sourness and spiciness. Will definitely pay a visit to the restaurant againt!!
I been there before once with my ex-school mate, that time was fantastic I must say but today definitely not. I\'m not sure if it\'s because I went for lunch instead of dinner (the staff told me the chef is the same through). Oh by the way, the staffs were unfriendly and lacked initiative. There were 2 Chinese ladies and didn\'t even manage a smile, even though they did open doors for us. One didn\'t bother to serve our requested chili and when my mum went to help herself at the condiments table, she just stood behind watching and didn\'t even bother to help! Food wasn\'t that nice as before anymore.
I have never heard of the place before but after hearing that they served really awesome thai food. I could not resist and went along for the outing. Indeed they do have a variety of different delicioud this food, since there was a group of us, we could order more food to share. their fried rice is really good, very tasty. their tom yum soup is a must order, it is not too spicy. I simply love its sourness.
Down by the sea at the Civil Service Club at Changi Village, Thai pan has a large window area facing the sea. It\'s set in pleasant and tranquil surroundings, in a free standing building with high ceilings and a wide dining hall. We went there after our ubin trip. I use the word \'hidden\' simply because this restaurant is kind of out of place. Nevertheless, I won\'t mind coming back because of its yummy food! As I will not go change village unless I go pulau ubin I started with TOM YUM soup which proved disappointing. Too diluted, not spicy, not sour, with a hint of tom yum flavor. Value is OK for $12 (enough for 6) but it just did not have enough kick. I will try share off my tom yum for other favorable food.Spending: Approximately SGD 20
Heard many rave reviews about Thai Pan, a Thai style cze char restaurant located at the eastern tip of Singapore so made the long trek down to give it a shot. Apparently its claim to fame is its quality food at coffeeshop cze char prices. The food was quite decent and the pricing relatively reasonable, at about $24 for 2 pax a value proposition that comes close to what the coffeeshop cze char stalls are offering, albeit in a much better environment with better service.

Heard many rave reviews about Thai Pan, a Thai style cze char restaurant located at the eastern tip of Singapore so made the long trek down to give it a shot. Apparently its claim to fame is its quality food at coffeeshop cze char prices. Located in a charming colonial style clubhouse within the Civil Service Club\'s premises at Changi Village, Thai Pan\'s interior boasts a sloping ceiling with wooden arches, parquet flooring and views of lush greenery through the checkered windows. The place does seem susceptible to echos though, because of the lack of sound dampening/absorbing materials like carpets. Jade Tofu with Chicken Floss - I thought that the name sounded promising. Jade tofu conjures images of silken tofu with a nice savoury taste. However that wasn\'t quite the case unfortunately. The skin was a little crisp and the inside was soft but not exactly silky. I struggled to make out the mild savoury taste that the tofu carried but to be fair, it was decent, just nowhere in the league of Pow Sing. Broccoli with Crab Meat - Personally I thought that this was quite good. There was egg white and small chunks of crab meat in the not too starchy and mildly appetising gravy that layered the crunchy and not overcooked broccoli. Phad Thai - I didn\'t quite take this Thai Pan\'s rendition of this Thai street dish as the ketchup taste was just too overwhelming. I would have prefered a kaleidoscope of flavours and of course the ubiquitous dried shrimps. This one only had egg and chicken cubes. Olive Rice - At $1 a pop, this was a great deal. But please note that its a promotion so I can\'t say if it will be a good deal in future. The rice was sufficient for 1 pax and had a nice wok hei taste with egg and cashew nuts. Accompanying alongside was a small serving of slightly sweet minced meat sauce that went well with the rice. The only minor gripe i had was that the rice did seem a little too damp for my liking. The food was quite decent and the pricing relatively reasonable, at about $24 for 2 pax - a value proposition that comes close to or on par with what the coffeeshop cze char stalls are offering, albeit in a much better environment with better service.
im hungry just looking at their menu! a must try!
My friend organised an outing at thai pan. I have never heard of the place before but after hearing that they served really awesome thai food. I could not resist and went along for the outing. Would always pop by thaipan during lunch breaks when i was still schooling at vj, since thaipan is just a stone\'s throw away. Love their butter squids, just keep you craving for more. DO try it out if you\'ve never eaten at thaipan, you dont wanna miss out good food Spending: Approximately SGD 12
I was having meeting at tampines concourse till 12pm. After the meeting, my boss asked me whether want to join him lunch. I replied okied and asked where he like to have lunch. He suggested to go Changi Sivil Service Club to have lunch and without hestiation we drove there. We decided to go ThaiPan Resturant for our lunch. We ordered a few dishes but overall i think the food taste okie only, not really worth for the money. Don\'t think i will want to dine there.
Discovered a restaurant opposite Changi Hotel, called ThaiPan. This restaurant name sounds like Thai restaurant, but most of the dishes are chinese food. My favourite dish is the cereal prawns. Its different from other restaurant as the cereal was not crispy, but soft and milky. A different taste that i ever try. This restaurant also do food delivery services.
Looking for a place where you can find affordable and delicious Thai Food in the East of Singapore? This is the place where you can consider having your dinner at! Fried Tofu with Golden Mushroom is a must to order whenever I visit this place! The tofu they served over here are really smooth. A must try if you\'re there! Tom Yum Soup was at the losing end today. What I normally ordered was Tom Yum Soup in red soup base but as for today, because my friend wanted to try something new, we had it in white soup base and it didn\'t taste as good as the red soup base which I normally had. It wasn\'t spicy at all. Thus, if you are those chilli lovers like me, try not to order the Tom Yum Soup that comes in white soup base. The Pad Thai was a bit too moist today. Not that great but still acceptable. Perhaps they should add in peanuts on top of the noodles too. ThaiPan Fried Rice is my favourite! The frangrance that came out from the rice was simply lovely. Just like Pad Thai, ThaiPan Fried Rice has a big serving too! Overall, an excellent place to have your dinner there. It was almost full house today so I would suggest to people who are planning to go there after reading my food review to call and make a reservation first. Spending: Approximately SGD 11(Dinner)
