Going Back

By: Satish Verma

GOING BACK

The other side:
otherness always collides.
A sinful virtue
to see the other side of moon.
Clefted peaks
defeating yourself
tasting the salt on the lips.

Body fluctuates
like the drizzle
wetting all the continuous present stress
and throwing up chaste droplets.

Always at the center stage
with laughing tattoos.
Deep down flows the silent lava
bursting the rocks,
melting the grooves.

Absurd:
quote unquote
had been the sacrifice.
They mode fun of it.
Life cut short, waiting was useless
Me and I are afraid to live
thinking to go back
from where we started.
