Sony Ericsson G700 Top Features

Finally! Sony Ericsson has announced the release of their new Smartphone: The Sony Ericsson G700. This small wonder will join the existing phone in the company's G-series lineup. It was also announced together with the G900. This new phone from Sony Ericsson is expected for release in the second quarter of this year and is rumored to be released in limited quantities - making it all the more valuable for SE fans.
The G700 will come in a bronze shade christened "Silk Bronze". It has a wide 2.4 inch display screen with an integrated touch screen interface that responds to touch as well as to its stylus. This phone operates on the Symbian OS, UIQ making it one of the most affordable smartphones with a touch screen interface in the market.


The phone is also equipped with an easy to use organizing system that includes an impressive "Sticky Note" feature that allows users to keep urgent notes on the main screen. The G700 is also capable of sending out SMS, MMS, Email, IM, Push Email and others.
The G700 is suited up with Triband connectivity as well as a UMTS 2100 for its video calling feature. It is also equipped with a suitable 160MB expandable built in memory. Wireless connectivity is also a given as it has Bluetooth 2.0 technology as well as USB version 2 connectivity for easy file downloads and uploads.
It has a 3.15 Megapixel camera that is capable of taking the best images. The camera is also equipped with flash and is capable of video recording. The G700 is also privy to a new camera and video user interface that is easier to use compared to SE's old design.
Sony Ericsson G700 is the company's way of bringing an affordable Smartphone to the masses. It is also easily underestimated because it looks similar to SE's K Series, but a few minutes with the phone and users will see that it is just so much more.
