The Xperia X1 is a 2G and 3G Network mobile phone. Its 2G network is GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900, while its 3G network is HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100 / 1700. Wherever you are around the world, this mobile phone will work for you. It was announced last February, 2008 and is slotted to become available in the 2nd half of this year (2008).

The dimensions of the Sony Ericsson Xperia x1 are as follows- 17 x 53 x 110 mm. It has a weight of 145g. Its display type is 65K colors TFT touch- screen. The size of the screen is 3 inches (800 x 480 pixels). Upon sliding the display, you will find the full QWERTY keyboard. This phone also has an optical joystick for a more convenient navigation. Its ringtone types include MP3 and Polyphonic ones. For ringtone customization, you can download or use the Composer. It allows vibration alert.

The Xperia X1 allows Photocalls and its Phonebook has 1000 x 20 fields. Call records show a maximum of 30 calls (missed, dialed, and received). It supports a MicroSD card slot too for a further bigger storage capacity. It has an internal memory of 400 MB, 256 MB storage memory, 128 MB RAM, and a 528 MHz processor (Qualcomm MSM7200).
