By: Alice Erin

Beauty is eternity gazing at itself in a mirror
But you are eternity and you are the mirror. (Kahlil Gibran)

The LG Shine phone is a specimen of designing innovation and technological ingenuity. The handset's surface serves as a mirror in the closed position. The slider mobile has a 2.2 inch TFT colour display with a resolution of 240x320 pixels. In the open state the mirror effect of the screen is supplanted by an animate display with the quantum of 256K colours.

The LG Shine phone is more than a modish accessory. It wields the tri-band technology, which supports network connection throughout the globe. It facilitates sending, receiving, editing, and composing of text, multimedia, and enhanced messages. It accords emailing and web browsing. WAP and XHTML browsers minister access to the world wide web.

The Organizer is replete with applications serviceable in office tasks. 1 Gbytes of internal memory is apt for storing contact information, notes, data, and applications. USB and Bluetooth facilitate transfer of diverse data and applications both to and from the handset. The GPRS technology expedites mailing and browsing processes.

The LG Shine commands features that complement its lambent exterior. It hosts a Music Player that can play songs or instrumental tracks in a variety of formats. It is receptive to the setting of MP3 tracks and polyphonic tunes as ringtones. The handset cedes entertainment by hosting the gaming feature. A multitude of Java and other games are embedded in the device. The choice of games can be expanded by downloading more from diverse sources.

A 2 mega pixel camera is installed in the handset to capacitate imaging functionalities. It is equipped to shoot still images and motion videos. It bears the potential to run videos in nearly all popular file formats.

With a plethora of laudable features, the LG Shine phone deserves all attention.
