Limewire Spyware

By: Jesse Miller

For a long people have been using Limewire to do file transfers over the internet with great speed. We didn't know that this tool contains spyware. The first time I read about it, I didn't know what to make of it.

At first, I considered it a bad joke and continued on using the program. After a while more reviews on this topic appeared and then I realized that they might be right.

You can imagine how I felt. Betrayed by software that I considered to be friendly, I sent personal data to some hacker that could at any given time make a fool out of me. Never the less, my first order of business was to eliminate the software from my computer thus closing any connection that I might have had with any outside intruder. I then immunized my file systems with perfectly capable tool and kept my head high. After all, this not only happed to me, but thousand of users worldwide trusted a piece of software that turned out to be malicious and devious in every way.

Quick Note: Taking the Nonsense out of looking for the right spyware remover

If you really want to take the work out of looking for that right Spyware Protection from a Spybot go to the Internet and get a Free Spybot Download or a Spybot Search and Destroy
to prevent your vital information from being ripped from your computer.

This goes to show that you need to do some extensive research on what kind of program you download and install. You never know how you can be tricked into thinking you're safe and then you find out that all your passwords have been changed or your credit card has been cashed out. Don't fall into the same trap that I did, read carefully what you download and also keep a spyware detection tool at you disposal, it can keep you a lot safer.
