The Truth of How to Get a Six Pack

How many more crunches and sit ups do I need to do until I finally see some abs in the mirror? Why am I not developing a nice tone and sexy six pack? What am I doing wrong?

These are very valid questions one may have. I can understand why you would ask these questions. I mean I would be just as frustrated as you if I was doing hundreds of crunches every other day and never saw any significant changes in my mid section.

The funny thing is that in order to get a six pack, you do not have to do crunches. Don’t get me wrong, crunches are good to do, but a crunch is the not the best abdominal exercise to do while training for six pack abs. Six pack abs don’t come from focusing on abdominal exercises and abdominal movements. The reason is simple, abdominal exercises do not burn fat from your abdominals. Developing six pack abs can only be accomplished through a much more effective full body training routine that maximizes both your metabolic response and your hormonal response to your workouts. Don’t get it twisted… you still have to do abdominal exercises to develop a super sexy rock hard stomach.
