How do you tell if you have termites?

Sometimes it's obvious if you have termites. However, it's not always apparent you have a problem until they've already done a lot of damage. But if you know what you're looking for, you can identify them early on. It's much better if you can catch infestations early and eliminate them before permanent damage is done to your house.

This can be easier said than done. If there aren't any gaping holes in your walls, how are you supposed to know?

Optigard ® Termite Liquid

Optigard ® Termite liquid is a liquid formulation for the control of subterranean termites, and a wide range of other insect pest species. Thiamethoxam, the active ingredient in Optigard Termite liquid, is a second-generation neocicotinoid insecticide which belongs to the thianicontinyl subclass.
Thiamethoxam demonstrates ingestion and contact activity against a wide range of economically important pests.

Nemesis Termite Bait System

Nemesis NEMESIS is a termite bait system designed to attract and eliminate termite colonies in a safe non invasive way. It uses an insect growth regulator(IGR), Chlorfluazuron, as the active constituent in the Nemesis bait. Active termites feed on the highly attractive bait food source & translocate the IGR to other members of the colony, at levels undetectable by those termites, until the colony collapses.

The system uses a number of unique stations for inground & above ground interception of active termites.
