Nokia 6300-- Incredibly Yours!

By: Alden Jerry

The Nokia 6300, is a slim candybar, which is ethically designed. This slim-line candy bar is wrapped in a layer of stainless steel. Though one can find a metal casing, yet the weight of the phone is just 91g and is pretty close to a featherweight. The front side and the back battery cover are made of cold silver metal. The buttons are silver plastic, while the shortcut buttons are black plastic. The colour scheme and use of metal, which is deliberately put to lend an air of sophistication, it is essentially a low cost, mid range handset. The phone is 106.4 mm tall, 43.6 mm wide and 11.7 mm thick.

Navigation is easy, thanks to the sensibly-spaced four-way rocker switch and Enter key.

The screen is large and the keypad is sufficiently sized for heavy text messaging. The 6300's main keys are clearly marked, making fast text massaging unproblematic and easy to use. The selection keys as well as the call and end keys are well spaced, while the navigation pad and its central select button are large.

The screen is a bit small at just two inches corner to corner, but it shows 240 x 320 pixels and 16.7 million colours, and as a result making it very sharp. This is a Tri-band GSM phone with GPRS. It also runs symbian Series 40. User can find it easier to grips with, and it can synchronise with their PC.

The Nokia 6300 include features such as 2-megapixel camera and MP3 playback. If we take multimedia into consideration, then there are some concessions to the media hoarding ways. It can play music files, including WMA, MP3 and AAC, and there is also an FM radio and Web browser. With online shopping becoming a craze these days, these mobiles could easily be bought online. Users can also get these phones in contract with orange, Vodafone etc. Now, that the festive season is round the corner it is becoming easy for the consumers to choose from variety of ranges.
