I Think

By: Satish Verma

I THINK

Self effacement? I wonder
I am myself today.
War is on -

In the valley of triumphs
scattering the flesh
the bones and the toes.

Let us talk of inner-connectivity
there must be some resistance.
The night of terror has come -

I did, what I thought.
Not afraid of future
you were not, born with a gun.

There is no relativity
I speak for you, for him or her
for collective truth.

The river is in full spate in starless night,
the other side, not visible
I think I do not believe.
