Windows genuine has been launched few years ago and its main purpose is to stop those that own unoriginal windows versions from being able to make use of software updates. This campaign was targeted toward clients from USA, Great Britain, Canada, Brazil.
Also, computers stores all over the world will no longer offer services to those that don't buy a licensed Windows version. In the following years, the software markets all over the world will register an average sells increase of approximately 10%.
Microsoft Corporation is trying to make people stop using unoriginal windows versions by denying those who don't have original versions to make use of online facilities.
But the problem is that many users don't even update their windows version, and also every month a new Windows kit with the current updates is available to download somewhere on some torrent tracker.
For the next couple of years the IT market all over the world will reach fabulous values. Until 2009, the average European country is forecasted to obtain over 1.3 million euro from sales alone. Many of which were considered to be registered from selling licensed copies of Windows.
Back in 2003, the IT market registered sales of only 200 thousands euro per average on every European country. So the estimated sale increase is tremendous and for sure it will be the result of self-awareness amongst consumers.
