Once known as the Pioneers of Singapore & Surrender Chambers Museum, this showcase has been around since 1983.This museum exhibits Singapore's history from the 14th century to the present, displaying life-like waxworks showcasing highlights such as the founding of modern Singapore by Sir Stamford Raffles and the footage of the dark surrender chambers.

A theme show depicting a piece of theatrical magic as you enter Images of Singapore. A story of how our forefathers of the world came together from different parts of the world bringing in different culture and traditions, in hoping that Singapore could be a place of hope and celebration. Here, history comes alive, as you absorb yourself in to some of the greatest moments in Singapore history. With life size historical figures, it brings stories magically alive. Stories told by ordinary, everyday people and not just heroes. You will be walking through living history of Singapore, focusing on Singapore’s culture and her strategic location.

In this part of Images of Singapore, come join the cultural festivities that are celebrated by the Chinese, Malays, Indians and the Eurasians here in Singapore. Here you will discover multiethinicity, culture, childhood, marriage, parent hood, work, and seasons of the people in Singapore.
