The Corniche is also a live-wire of recreation and entertainment with a multitude of casinos and the alluring beach. Getting around Alexandria is another interesting affair, the most eye-catching and fascinating but slow mode of transportation being the tram. It's the unarguably the cheapest mode, but very useful when it comes to sightseeing for tourists. However, taxis and buses are also easily available.
