From personal angelic experiences and the following story, it becomes very obvious to me that we not only have our own guardian angel(s) but in special circumstances more than one angel appears on the scene to protect us. I remember years ago reading a story about Attila the Hun camped at the gates of Rome in 452AD. The Roman army was collapsing. Attila retreated because when he watched Pope Leo go empty handed to the barbarian camp begging him to spare the city, Attila witness something amazing. He saw two shining beings with flaming swords standing along side Pope Leo.

I personally know a great deal about the swords of angels, particularly the traditional flashing silver-blue sword of Archangel Michael. A friend had given me a gift certificate for a massage. As soon as I walked into the office of the therapist, I felt uncomfortable. The energy was heavy and negative. I should have paid attention to my intuitive feelings and left. Instead, I stayed for the massage. It was free and a gift from a close friend.

I felt so terrible after the massage that I went and looked into a hallway mirror to double check that I was still myself. It sounds strange but that is how disoriented I felt. The heaviness remained with me. As soon as I was safely home, I went to bed. Being clairvoyant, I immediately saw the huge dark energy that had followed me home. In fact, half of my bedroom was filled with it. From my work as a healer, I understood that the darkness was a collection of negative energy that had accumulated in the spa and for its own reasons decided to attach itself to me. Normally, I can handle anything that appears unpleasant with ease. This time I was physically and emotional depleted. I had just buried my mother and handled everything myself. I was temporarily off balance. In the past, I have had successful experiences with exorcisms. Let's face it. When our energy is depleted from lack of sleep and many responsibilities, we are open to negative influences because our emotional and physical fields are weakened.

I was so weak that my feeble attempts at praying did not remove the dark energy looming in the right side of the room. Then something very remarkable occurred. Out of nowhere came Archangel Michael's flashing sword. I watched in awe as it flew from the left side of the room straight to the dark energy disintergrating it immediately. It happened suddenly and purposefully. As soon as the sword struck through the darkness, my personal energy returned and I was my usual energetic self.

If you are committed in seeking truth and loving the journey, you will be able at some point on the road toward God to establish an intimate relationship with our invisible friends. Most modern versions of the Bible carry approximately three hundred references to angels and their duties here on Earth. The Reformation did believers a great disservice because the entire hierarchy of angelic life, the invisible life between earth forms and God, was dismissed.
