If you get addicted to the pills, then you have a new problem which is difficult to get rid of without your doctor's help.
If you're tired of the anxiety and the panic attacks because they prevent you from doing a lot of things you'd like to do and you want to be panic free then I suggest you start doing something about it. It won't go away on its own.
