There are many ordinary individuals in this world that have very extraordinary skills with producing making their own beats. They are able to do so from their own home or maybe even their own office with the help of many different types of software available to everyone. Some of the softwares that are readily available for beat makers are products such as Acid Pro, Reason, Fruity Loops, and Pro Tools.

They all have a few characteristics within them that distinguish them from one another. It is more up to the preference and choice of the beat maker as to which product he feels comfortable to use.

Pro Tools is a product that is generally used on most operating systems which include Microsoft Windows and Macintosh OS. The product is developed and manufactured by Digidesign, which is part of Avid Technology.

The product specializes in professional beat makers to record and edit music productions as well as film and television productions.

Acid Pro is a product by Sony which is used as a professional Digital Audio Workstation program. It has been around since 1998 and helps beat makers with the unique looping characteristic. It was the first software to have automatic looping in which an individual could easily just drag and drop any type of loop onto a track, and the loop would adjust itself to the tempo and key of the specific song.

The biggest benefit in this was there was virtually no loss in the quality of the audio. It was this idea that made it very popular to many beat makers. Even though this technique has been adapted into many different types of software available in the market place, Acid Pro has been coming out with original ideas since.

They came out with a version called Acidized Loops which contain tempo and key information right on the screen to help the beat maker in choosing the correct loop.

Another famous program is Fruity Loops which is also classified as a digital audio workstation that many beat makers find helpful. The software has focused and centered on producing a pattern with its music sequencer. It has many different types of features available for the user to edit, mix, and record the audio.

If you are looking for a better beat making software, then you should look for the sound quality it offers. Your software should come with all the features that you need to make your own beats, including the templates for the amateur beat makers that can be used to create new beats. The beat making software should provide you with a variety of sounds including the synths, strings, drums etc. However, while use these sounds you can start getting a feeling that some of the sounds are being used again and again, hence in order to be creative you will need more sounds that you can download.

The key selling point that the company makes with this software is that once you purchase it, you are entitled to having free upgrades for the life of the product.
