Education is important in order to perform well in any profession. This may be for something basic such as plumbing to something more important than fixing the engine on a plane. When people want to have a stronger relationship with God and want to help the community, clergymen can attention a vocational bible school.

Priests and other officials are responsible in training the clergy on issues of the faith. Davis College for instance located in New York has about two hundred students. There are almost an equal number of men and women enrolled that want to learn more about the word of God.

The Association Free Lutheran Bible School and Seminary is another institution that promotes the same teachings. This place offers a two-year course to students who finished high school. Those in charge want to instill in the minds of the individual the lessons from the bible and to live freely according to Lutheran beliefs.

West Toronto Bible School located in Canada is another place worth checking out. This institution focuses on different things depending on the age and gender of the person.

Men for instance are taught about spiritual growth, service to God and the community and witnessing the blessings bestowed by Christ. Women on the other hand aside from learning the same thing conduct bible studies, home service and prayer meetings. This shows that worshippers do not only listen but also preach and practice what is being taught.

The Hilliard Bible Institute in Houston is another place for those who live in the Midwest. This place offers courses on the bible as well as vocational courses for those interested in learning other things aside from those passed on by God.

There are two major differences between the vocational bible school and the regular kind.

First, there are not that many vocational bible schools around since this is not oriented on making a career or profiting for oneself.

Second, students who decide to study do not have to pay for tuition or shell out any money because learning about the word of God is free.

The only thing the priest will ask for is the devotion of the individual to the faith to be able to learn and serve the community. If the person feels this calling but does not want to be come a priest or a nun, then serving the almighty can be done by being in the clergy.
