Both high and low class households have adopted the easy way of dealing with the washing. The various appliances we touch and operate include having the right kind of washing machine, which is defined by the speed, performance and the time it takes to complete a given load of clothes. A washing machine agitator is found in top loaded washing machines and protrudes underneath the wash basket, making the wash action in a revolving manner from back to front and vice versa in different types of machines.

The following are the questions one should ask before choosing the right brand when considering washing machines:

1. Front Loading Washing Machine

This is a kind that contains the front loading of the washing machine with a port hole. The models are wider but are less deep. They are designed to be integrated easily under a work surface in your sink or kitchen but can also accommodate another tumble dryer at the top; the last point of the front loading washing machine is that it has a potentially loading capacity that can lead to 9kg.

2. Top Loading Washing Machine

They are the freestanding washing machines and are much easier to store. This kind of washing machine offers a much tighter design and more space saving but normally holds less than the front load machine at about 5kg.

In line with the loading capacity one should consider the capacity required before making a purchase. There are a variety of drum sizes depending on ones self decision of the capacity needed. A single person can own the one having a loading capacity less than 5kg which can be sufficient. The newly wedded couple that does not yet have a large family can decide to have a washing machine with a capacity ranging from 5kg to 5.9kg. A family with two children can take a much larger washing machine with larger drum of a capacity of 6kg to 6.9kg which should fit the family sized needs.

A family with three to four children or more should consider a machine that has a capacity holding of 7kg, 7.9kg or a much larger of 8kg depending on the approximate washing needs the family has. In addition a person should consider the speed of the spinning drum. The spinning rate determines how fast your washing will dry.

It's always advisable to go for brands that offer a higher speed as they advocate a much a higher and more efficient spinning rate. A much easier and efficient machine brand should enable you to regulate the speed of the drum. This is normally to allow you reduce the drum speed on delicate materials to avoid damage to them while increase speed on those that have strong and difficult to wash fabrics.

In completion different brands have different programs that enable you to operate the machine. The Automatic program enables you to calculate the water needed and the duration of washing depending on the work load given.
