When you join the Directv family of TV viewers, you will be given your choice of receivers that you are going to be using with the satellite TV system that they give you. There is still more it will allow you to do. If you love commercials you can record all of them with it but if your like most other people, you will use the function to zip right past any commercials that come on the regular programming you are watching.

Instant replays in slow motion, are as easy as pressing the button on your remote and you can watch a questionable play all over again and wont have to rely on the sports programmers any more. If you need to take a break in your program to go to the phone, or want to skip through a section of it to get to the good part, the DVR function in the Hughes receiver puts this at your fingertips also. Its important to remember that all of these DVR functions are simple one touch functions, that even a child can easily learn to use.
