I thought I would take a moment to answer some of the most frequently asked questions about Oblivion, which happens to be my most played game right now.
Help! What class do I choose?
Creating your character is a big decision that you are forced to make quite early in the game. Before I played, I heard horror stories on the net about not creating your character correctly. Personally I think that's a bunch of hogwash. I don't think you can mess it up. I do recommend reading the instruction booklet, where the classes are explained. Think about what you want to get out of Oblivion (magic, fighting, etc.) and create a character focused on that.
So what quests do I do?
It is hard not to get overwhelmed in a game this big. There is so, so much to do. Fortunately for you, things don't necessarily have to be done in a certain order and it is all very open ended. I would suggest not having a set plan, wandering around and just letting the game take you where it will.
Why are my skills so low?
Remember, you need to use your skill to advance it. If your blocking skill is low, that's because you don't block very much. If you heal yourself all the time, your restoration skill is going to be high.
Is there an ending?
Even when you've think you've done everything, there is still probably more out there. This can drive the perfectionist mad! I would suggest shooting for something a bit more tangible, like unlocking all of the xbox live achievements.
I hope you have enjoyed my oblivion wiki, now get out there and play!
