Many restaurants will still give you a free dessert with your meal when you eat at their establishment ON your birthday. The only real downside to the treat is that you will likely have to endure the restaurant's custom written birthday song and a few stares. With desserts costing around $3, it could be worth a little red face.

It is always a nice treat to get something for free on your birthday. It might even be worth the embarrassment that comes with the singing and the clapping. If you are interested in taking advantage of freebies on your birthday then be sure to sign up with rewards programs, your favorite restaurants and even your favorite stores. Most of them have places online where you can accomplish this task. Once you are registered you will only need to wait until your time to get your discounts, coupons and free gifts.
