Clothing is another item that is very important on your adventure trip. You need to make sure that you pack accordingly. By accordingly, don't pack a ton of clothes if you'll be hiking with a backpack that's going to tire you out quickly. At the same time, if you're in a hot climate, you'll want some cool weather clothing. You'll also need basic equipment for personal hygiene. Just take the basics, though. You need to bring warm weather clothing as well as cool weather clothing as you may find a large temperature variance from daytime to evening. Other outdoor sports that require a lot of equipment are canoeing and kayaking.

The best advice is to ask your adventure travel operator what they recommend. Sometimes they provide some of the equipment and you need to provide the rest. Before you go and purchase new equipment, make sure you'll need it for your trip. Your operator may be able to provide you with a list of what equipment you need.
