You have a goal, and that is good. I am sure it is a big goal, and one that you have never achieved before. That is good, because it means it requires for you to grow as a person. It takes a bigger person to make 6 figures, to buy a dream home, to go on a world cruise. But, this does not mean someone who is elevated over others, but that you simply must grow. Like how you had to grow from a child to adult to be able to have the level of freedom you have today.

The question is why. Why do you want this goal? It is often overlooked, but there needs to be a big enough reason. Many will say they want a Yacht, but this is not what they really want in most cases.

There needs to be a desire. If you have really liked a person, and couldn't get them out of your mind, and one day got to be with that person, this is the kind of desire you seek. Napoleon Hill once wrote that getting financially free is like seeing someone you love, and going from desire to actually being with that person.

Time is something that gets the best of us. We want it now! In fact we want it yesterday! But, here comes a problem. Even a pilot can't give exact times to arrive, and he has done the journey many times. You are like Columbus on a new and exciting voyage. He could not say exactly how long the journey would take.

The key is to keep on. Most people soon give up when the goal has not materialized in the time frame they desire. This is unfortunate. Every time I have set goals, in almost all cases it took longer than what I anticipated. However, as I have achieved more over the years, I have been more able to get closer to a figure, but it still is not exact.

* Goal Setting Tips - Do You Know?

One of the most important tips I can provide is what is about to follow. Think about your goal. Think about the actions you have taken. Now think about that goal when you first had the idea. Now, have you made any progress?

If your goal was to make a million dollars in 1 year, how close are you? If you have not achieved the first dollar - there is a problem. If you want to publish a book this year, and have not written the first page - there is a problem.

Do you really know? Do you know what to do? If you find yourself in this position, it is important to rethink the strategy. Look at ways of improving what you are doing. Find better ways.
