Through the multitude of techniques and methods used in the realizationof an indoorgrowing, there is a useful method that can be adopted improvethe productivity of your plants: the so-called ScrOG.



First ofall, before beginning the building of your scrog growroom, you have to get all the information about the plantsyou want to use. In fact, you have to organize the work having an ideaof the expected growth so you can choose exactly the tools and thedevices you need for scrogging.

The ScrOG method is veryefficacious if you wnt to get the maximum yield from you indoorgrowing, and it can be installed even inside a small growroom.

In fact, it permits to optimize vertical space and thelight usage. It consists in building a screen (an horizontal net)suspended between the plants and the lamps, so that they are trainedand forced through the holes of the net, resulting an horizontal tableof leaves and converting vertical in horizontal growth.

TheScrOG helps whom is using small grow rooms, because plants can beeasily managed in horizontal way, and it avoids wastes of light settingall the plants at the same height from the light source.

Thereare two types of ScrOG: the modular one and the normalone.

With a modular ScrOG, there will be a single separatednet for each plant, while with the normal one you can grow more thanone plant in the same net.

Modular scrog is very easy tomanage: you can add or remove plants in every moment and you can easilytake off of your grow room one or more plants, for example for wateringthem. However, setting up a modular scrog is very difficult: you haveto place nets on every single plant!

Normal scrog is easier toinstall but, when branches are interlaced to the net, you cannot movenor transplantthem anymore!

So you will have to calculate the necessaryspace before positioning them.

Variations about this methodcould be the "BoG", or "box of green", where we will have to install avertical screen, around the perimeters of the grow rooms, added to thehorizontal one, or the "v-scrog", using a cylinder order.

So,the ScrOg method is useful to maximixe your growing production, becauseeach plant can be raised over a wider area of the screen.
