It is getting that time of year again when lots of people are looking for a good deal in vacationing along the beaches. There are tons of choices that you can make and time is drawing nearer to book rooms before they all are filled. Westgate Hotel is also close to both of Myrtle's long piers which offer fishing, and even a pier restaurant. If you book for the Fourth of July you will have a front row seat to one of the East coasts largest fireworks shows for free. That alone is worth the trip down there because I have seen the show three times and it never gets old! During the summer they have a smaller fireworks show every wednesday night and every week so you really dont have to go for the 4th of july to see a fire works show.

Not only is the hotel close to alot of the main attractions it is also fairly priced, with and average cost of just above a hundred dollars a night, even for the holiday weekend. The Westgate hotel is also located adjacent to the Family Kingdom waterpark which allows the kids to visit the large water slides and pools in just a minutes notice. I have stayed at Myrtle Beach before and having a great hotel at a good price makes the trip loads of more fun for all members of the family!

The hotel is undergoing some renovations and is building on a large addition just adjacent to the hotel that is already there it should be finished by the summer of 2009. It will be a great facility to visit once the complete renovation is complete and will be the most sought after hotel on the Grand Strand.
