Advertising is done in several ways, one of which is television, it's a pretty expensive way to get word or your company or product out there, but it does work with the amount of people who watch television every day. Or how about the newspaper, this ad won't run you as much as a television spot, but newspapers aren't read by as many people who watch the television.



You also have the opportunity to be able to advertise in those little flyers that are put out each week by most cities. This is good for someone who has only one of two items for sale, not for a store. But really it could be used just in case you have something you really want to get rid of and have a bunch of them.

You should consider what your product is and how much of it you want to sell when you decide how to go about advertising the items. If you only have a few items to sell you would be better off with a small ad in the flyer or some sort of weekly newspaper that won't cost you as much. But if you are attempting to get a small business off the ground by all means go and get an ad in the newspaper, and put some up online even. The ones for television I would wait a bit on to see how your store does. But if you happen to have the extra money in your budget and can spare it why not attempt to get a television ad.

When doing an ad for the television please make sure that you make an ad that isn't completely dumb and will only turn people away from your product. It doesn't have to be a high cost production either but you should at least manufacture a nice commercial that will get your product known and the name of it on a few peoples tongues.

Looking to advertise isn't always easy when trying to decide the market that you want to reach and when you take into consideration how much money you may need to spend to accomplish exactly what you want to. So decide what you want to accomplish in your advertising and then go and choose which advertising would be best for you and your product. Get it out there on the streets and see if you can make some extra bucks!
