Regardless of what your product is, how much it costs, or if it is even free for the public, the first thing you really need to have three things, first of all you need a host name, secondly you need to have a domain, and third you need to know what your URL is so you can direct potential prospects or leads to your website.



After you have done this, you go to as many search engines and tag sites as possible and list your URL to your website on the search engines. This way when people type in certain key words , there is a big chance your website will come up in the search results.

Use Bold key words and words that will entice those who are searching to want to go to your website. After you have done this, be sure the products you have to offer are on your web site, and if possible add graphics of the products and information about the products you have to offer.

However, don't overkill on what product you have to offer, in other words don't use a bunch of filler words and go way out to zooloo land with words like awesome, terrific, magnificent, and some others, you basically get the idea.

But tell them about the product in a few sentences, and if they want more information about a product be sure you have an email address listed where they can contact you, or perhaps a link where they can switch the page to where there is more information for your products listed, but don't clutter up the homepage of your website, just talk about your products is a simple and straight forward manner without all the hype.

If someone gets bored reading about all the different items sometimes they get bored with the site, and then they just leave the page or if you are lucky they will bookmark it for later. If this is the case, you might have a sale of a product but at a later time when in all reality, it could've been a lot sooner. Like the here and now context of selling. So, keep it simple.

Word of mouth gets results as well. Say for example you have started selling cologne on the Internet, and everything is all set up. You have listed it in search engines and you are getting some prospects, made a few sales, and its doing ok. Well, tell your friends and family about it, and have them send the URL to their friends, and family, spread it around this way as well.

Product submission doesn't have to be difficult, however selling the product can be a challenge if you go about it the wrong way. In some situations, the products won't sell at all if you haven't started off on the right foot to begin with. Emails to friends and family with the URL to the website is a way of promoting and submitting products you have to offer, then they will send the URL to their friends and family.
