Finding your own unique interior design style can be tricky! Carry out some interesting researches before jumping in with your paint pot! Look at journals and magazine or online blogs for inspiration! Add quirky, yet practical pieces to the room such as fabric coffee tables which will double up as additional seating. Chose a candy stripe of pins, white and green to bring cohesion and balance to your room.

Always add fresh flowers to a room to give a homely and very fashionable loo. Place large vases of seasonal flowers on the mantle piece in front of the mirror for a dramatic and glorious display. Spring and summer are ideal seasons for finding flowers and foliages which will compliment raspberry and apple green furniture and soft furnishings. During autumn and winter wonderful twigs and evergreen foliage can look simply stunning.

Never neglect window treatments. Hang white voiles from dark curtains poles for a chic and elegant style which will compliment your colour scheme beautifully. Full length voiles or sheer curtains will be ideal to give height to a room. Leave them to hang straight or sweep them back from the centre and hold in place with beautiful beaded tie-backs to add a touch of glamour in an understated way.
