What is the first thing you see and check before buying any product of your choice? Once you have selected the brand, the first thing we all usually check before paying for the product is its packaging. What do you prefer buying, a bottle of water without a seal or a bottle with a seal? Obviously, without any doubt we all will select the bottle with a seal as it properly packages and so is safer than the other. A minor mistake in the packaging can cause great loss to the packaging industry. The consumers have the right to complain against the company and legal steps can be taken against the company by the customer.

Today, with the fast changing time packaging the products has moved to a completely new level. It has become something more than just wrapping the products and then sending them for sale. Today, packaging has become a very important criterion for any industry's success. The importance and the value of the packaging industries, has grown with the industrial revolution across the whole world. Thus, packaging has become more of a scientific process rather than just a mechanical method as safety, sanitization and purity have become the main factors for buying any item. Based on the material that has to be packed, the type of packaging varies. For instance, while packing the medicines special care is taken to check for its reaction with the packaging material and the other factors affecting it like the reaction of the medicine to light, air etc. Thus, based on the reactions, medicines are packed using dark light protective materials or bottles. Similarly, the food items are packaged properly in the air tight plastic bags to prevent the entry of air or any other contamination. Have you seen the packaging of any electrical or glass item? They are packaged with special care using the bubble wraps, thermocol boxes and then finally using the Cardboard boxes for keeping them safe from air and moisture. Also, the bubble wraps protect the brittle items from breaking and getting damaged. This type of packaging was liked by people all around the globe and so these companies started packaging their products very scientifically as per the demand of the consumers or customers.

Thus, the old techniques of packaging the products were replaced by these new scientific and secured packaging techniques keeping the safety and demand of the customers.
