As he is probably working the opportunity for quite some time he has great experience on the subject of building a home based business in the field of network marketing. That experience that comes from working on the trenches, is invaluable and cannot be substituted by the company or anyone else. All this knowledge, as it is natural, would pass it to you, which is to his best interest. Your sponsor's commissions depend on how successful you would become yourself, so he has nothing to gain by holding back something from you, but on the contrary a lot to lose.

Besides these two sources of MLM training, your next step would be to seek additional sources from where you can get knowledge relevant to your network marketing business needs. Whether in the form of books, online courses, or seminars, your education should never stop. There is not a point that you can reach and let yourself rest there. Sooner or later new ways and methods of doing business would make their appearance and if you don't embrace them and start using them you would be left behind by the competition.

Succeeding in this industry without proper MLM training is almost impossible unless you want to go through years of error and trial all alone while spending countless sums of money in the process. It is vital if you want to become successful to follow all the knowledge that the company and your sponsor would offer to you and move further to learn even more.

As they say education is an ongoing process that never ends and you have to follow that path if you really want to reach your goals. Successful people never stop learning that's why the always stay ahead of the curve and do the things that work at that certain point at time.
