In the early years, keep the lessons short and sweet.

There has to be a method for evaluation of children. If you have clear goals and communicate the same to the children you can work towards achieving it together. Generally there would be some yearly evaluation of the student's progress by ways of tests, oral report, projects etc. Some people feel that homeschooling takes away the social aspect of public schooling. Plan outdoor sessions, which are enjoyable learning for the children and at the same time- fun. Focus your energy on creating such sessions around an activity, which the children like most.
