Haven't you heard about the wonders of credit repair? Yes, I know, the critics are still going on and on about the need for consumers to be wary of professional credit repair companies and the kind of services they're offering but whether you do it yourself or hire the services of a professional credit repair company, it's undeniable that credit repair can indeed transform what was previously rated as bad credit into a good one.
If you're interested to learn about the things you can do to fix bad credit – yours in particular – read on!
Bad Credit Can Still Be Erased – That's the first thing you have to convince yourself of. The path to credit repair is not a short and easy one; so if you don't have the patience and perseverance for it, I can already tell you now that you'll be quitting even when you're not halfway to the finish line. Because you're doing it alone, the task is doubly harder so you truly need buckets of patience if you want to see this through.
Prepare Yourself For Changes – Don't fool yourself into thinking that when all this is over and you've accomplished what you intended – and that's to repair your credit – you can immediately revert to your old form and once again not care about payment deadlines, overextending your loans, using up the remaining balance of your credit cards and so on.
If you want the effects of your credit repair achievements to last, then you must promise to yourself not to go back to your old bad habits. Besides, that's also like throwing away everything you've earned!
Deciphering Credit Reports – When you're about to fix bad credit you can ask anyone in the world with a minimum amount of intelligence regarding financial matters and they'll tell you that the first thing you'll always have to do is obtain a copy of your credit report and find out about your FICO scores.
If you have a FICO score that's above 680, it's time to set your heart at ease because for now, there's nothing to worry about. But if you have a score lower than 550, you better wish that your credit report contains a number of errors or you're in for a longer fight.
Quickly Fix Bad Credit
If you're like most new internet marketers you jumped into Pay-Per-Click advertising with Google without picking up an ebook or going through some guru's course. Just as a golfer develops bad habits early on,
you may have an adwords bad habit as well.
You were probably like me and jumped in willing to make a few mistakes in the beginning to get off the ground. And that's fine, but now that you've got the basics down, consider this...
* Your click through rate could be suffering
* Your split testing may not be telling you the truth and
* The name of your website could be driving people away
Not to worry though, I've outlined these 3 common mistakes that new Adword advertisers make. Heck, even if you're a vetran marketer you might have overlooked step #3.
Rookie Mistake #1
Combining Content Network & Search Network.
The fastest way to get a horrible click through rate is to combine these 2 networks. They are completely different advertising media and your campaign will really suffer.
Content Network is the network of publishers who put Adsense on their sites. Search is when you go to Google.com and search for that specific item or piece of information.
You'll get tens and hundreds of thousand impressions on the content network and your click through rate might be .10 click through rate and have maybe a thousand impressions.
If you've made this rookie mistake your click through rate could be suffering dramatically.
Here's how you fix it:
Click on your Campaign Name > Select Edit Settings.
Under the Network heading make sure that either Content Network is selected OR Search Network is selected.
If both are selected uncheck one and create a completely new campaign for the other.
Rookie Mistake #2
Trusting Adwords to properly rotate your ad.
It seems obvious right? Let Adwords decide which is the better performing ad and show that one more. WRONG. There are multiple factors in determining which is a better performing ad and the click through rate is only one.
What if you have a lower click through rate, but majority of your sales are coming from that "weaker performing" ad? Why would you show that one less often... you wouldn't. Only YOU know if the ad
is really performing or not by how many conversions and sales
you are receiving.
This rookie mistake is easy to fix:
Click on your Campaign Name> Select Edit Campaign Settings. Under the Advanced Options heading there is an "Ad Serving" option. Select "Rotate: Show ads more evenly".
Rookie (and Veteran) Mistake #3
Not Testing the Display URL.
Testing the display URL or website name is probably the most overlooked piece when crafting your adwords ad. Instead of 3 lines that you are coming up with for your adcopy, you actually have 4.
The display url is extremely important because that's the name of your "store". If your domain name isn't congruent with your ad, it might lead to confusion and a loss of clicks (and business).
You'll also have an "extra" opportunity to sell your click by picking using a strategic url.
Here's an easy fix:
Purchase a new domain name from Godaddy.com and split test the Display URL's. Choose the winning display URL and you've just increased business.
Take action right now and login to your Google Adwords
account to make sure that you're not throwing money away by making these costly mistakes.
I've assisted numerous individuals on my team with these 3 items and have seen first hand the difference in results.
