Gozo is a very peculiar and attractive island that is part of the South European country of Malta which is also an island. Compared to Malta Gozo has a much smaller surface area and its aspect is more rural; because of that fact tourists are very attracted to it. -- The Fungus Rock: this is a massive islet of limestone which rises 60 m above sea level and is placed at the entrance of an almost circular black lagoon.

-- The Azure Window: this is considered one of the most spectacular natural landmarks in the Maltese archipelago.
