With prom quickly approaching, you may want to freshen up your manners. Unbelievably, manners do count when it comes to this formal evening. It does not matter if you are a girl or a guy, it is important to show others at your prom that you are a respectable person. First, get yourself organized. Do you have everything ready to go for prom? For girls, this means having all the hair accessories you need, shoes, jewelry and all of your make up laid out and ready to go. For the guys, this means having your full tux laid out, including shoes, socks and anything you need in terms of accessories. As you plan for your prom day, remember that being organized will keep you from embarrassing yourself on this very special day. You will be too nervous on your prom day to remember the details.

The next thing you need to do is to get some table manners. If you have a tendency to eat messy or to be impolite while at the table, freshen up. You may even want to take a class to help teach you how to do so. More so, you may not even know that you do not have the right abilities. For example, which fork do you eat with? The good news is that prom is all about having fun. Sure, you want to be organized and you do want to know how to dance, but you do not have to be perfect.
