If you could actually manage to get people to visit your site, then you might very well have the next Google on your hands. But, without the cash to lay out for the pay-per- click advertising or the software necessary to flood the world with more spam, you are beginning to despair. As your site does not even rank in the first ten PAGES, it is beginning to look like that brilliant dream may die one lonely and miserable death. But, don't throw in the towel just yet because there remain some free methods to generate traffic flow to your site.

While it may not cost a dime, being ranked in the top ten of search engines will require a lot of hard work and effort. You are going to do some homework if you plan on landing your site on the first page of the search engines. Since the competition is already where you want to be, study their sites in great detail because they have a formula that you already know works. Pay attention to their keyword density strategy, the sites they have linked to, and their meta tag usage. It is going to take time to understand their formula because you are going to need to test one variable at a time and then check the resulting increase or decrease in your rankings. Determining a competitor's keyword density strategy is probably the thing you should focus upon first. No one except those who own the search engines know the precise formula, so don't worry about getting it perfect. Find a strategy that significantly boosts your rankings and then start cranking out some content using that formula.

Another great way to increase your ranking is to link with other sites. If you have links to other popular sites, then the search engines conclude that you must a pretty important site yourself. Webmasters like linking with sites that will benefit them as well so you have to have a lot of useful content. This is precisely the reason you need to work on a winning keyword density formula so you can use it to generate a ton of great content using it. The more links you establish with high-traffic sites, the closer you get to that number one ranking. Once you know you have some killer content based upon a winning keyword strategy, begin e-mailing webmasters asking them for permission to link with your site. There are websites that will allow you to link with them without first obtaining permission and although they may not be the greatest links, it is a decent beginning all the same.

Yahoo classifieds offer another free way to increase your traffic flow. Yahoo remains one of the most visited websites in the world with millions of daily hits so you can rest assured that people will at least see your ad. Of course, you better write some great copy if you expect people to visit your site. Yahoo allows you to post 10 ads free of charge each time. So, keep writing ads and posting them until you find one or two that succeed in driving people to your site. Online classifieds may not get you the traffic you need to become the next Google, but it is a start. And hey, its free to post them on Yahoo!

Search engines, at least at present, remain the gatekeepers of Internet traffic flow because 90 percent of the people surfing the net use them to find what they want. So, study the competition closely and try to figure out their keyword density formula. Use that formula to generate a lot of informative content and then start establishing links with other sites. The ranking you want will not happen overnight and will require a lot of hard work. But, if you stick at it, you can sit atop the rankings throne one day and just count your money!

I explained to her that "You won't find a bigger, more blatant scam than what goes on in Corporate America... and you described it perfectly".

She didn't like that and she went on to not only tell me that what I'm doing won't work, but also that I should try to find a real job. I didn't have the heart to tell her that I make about 3 times what she does even though I don't have nearly as much experience in this as she does in her profession. Plus, there's the fact that I work only a few hours per day, as well as the fact that it's about 2 in the afternoon and I'm writing this at a bench after eating lunch in a beautiful park on a nice, sunny day and I'm enjoying most of my time with those I love the most, and the least of my time with those I like the least, and she's doing the exact opposite. AND I NEED TO GO FIND A REAL JOB?!?!

So I immediately took that life lesson and turned it into an article, a blog post, as well as a video. Of course, I then added it to a viral eBook. All in one hour, my work was done that day!! In fact, I should pay that poor woman for helping me. But because her mindset about money is all wrong,pride would get in her way of taking the money as a real compensation for value she provided to me.

Here's another easy one...I will research my competition incessantly. When I find the "newest report on MLM Scams", etc. I'll do reviews on those types of things, because lots of people are receiving emails with this stuff and they don't have time to read them. Now I give them a short summary of what the info was about and they know, like and trust me. I've shown them that I understand what I'm talking about and now they have the scoop and they didn't have to take the time to read it...I'm creating a following...by doing what I normally do every day anyway, with the one small extra step of writing the review of that particular ebook or report...which ingrains the info into my head further anyway, which is exactly what I want.

Info in my brain and money in my pocket. All in a day's work...I love this industry!!
