Bruce Springsteen tickets NY are a little bit more special than ordinary Springsteen concert passes. This is saying a lot, considering that tickets to any Springsteen concert are usually hard to find, especially now with online communities making the tussle for tickets an international affair. But Springsteen has always had a special place in his heart for New Jersey and as a result, some of his best gigs have been in New York and in New Jersey.

Jersey Boy

Springsteen has always made his love for New Jersey clear in his music and his live performances. One of his most famous songs 'Born To Run' was made the unofficial youth anthem of New Jersey. This is something Springsteen has always commented on, since the song is actually about leaving New Jersey. Nevertheless, his love for the state is obvious. When he was just starting out, he played at a number of Jersey Shore clubs and has since become one of the pioneers of what is now referred to as the Jersey Shore Sound. Even today, some clubs-goers get a special treat when Springsteen comes down to perform in his old strip.

His excessive and seemingly relentless playing at local arenas sowed the seeds of his fan following early on. In fact, many music observers say that he had already developed a cult following before inking his first deal. This is definitely the sign of a true musician and is a far cry from those artists who seem to only start singing after signing their record deal.

New York, New York

If Bruce Springsteen tickets NY are in high demand today, it's only because of the phenomenal sets he has done in the Big Apple in the past. A gig that Rolling Stone Magazine would list as one of the 50 Moments That Changed Rock And Roll was a set performed at the Bottom Line Club in New York. Springsteen was backed by his E Street Band and he played ten shows in five nights, prior to the release of his album Born to Run. The concerts were broadcast live on radio and many critics were forced to agree that Springsteen was indeed a remarkable musician.

After a hiatus of a few years, Springsteen would return to New York with the E Street Band in tow for a reunion tour. The tour began in Europe but would wind down with 10 consecutive shows at Madison Square Garden in New York. These shows were completely sold out as fans from literally all over the world came to see The Boss and his crew perform. Highlights of the New York shows included the inclusion of a controversial song called 'American Skin (41 Shots). The shows proved to be so popular that they were aired as an HBO concert and were later released on DVD. Today, New York is still a favorite concert stop for Springsteen and Bruce Springsteen tickets NY remain a hot fan favorite.
