Golden Technologies has been a hard hitter in the home medical equipment industry since 1985. In a time when everyone else was merely buying recliners and putting a motor in them, Golden was custom making each recliner. This high level of quality and attention to detail has been upheld and expanded upon over the years and has positioned Golden to be the first choice for many when it comes to anything home medical. Since they began making lift chairs, it comes as no surprise that they have a quality lift chair line available that will fit anyone's needs. One very popular and reliable line is the Golden Value Series.

A lift chair is a recliner that has a lifting base that makes it easier to stand up and sit in a controlled manner. Utilizing an attached remote control, a seated individual can once again stand up by themselves and not worry about falling or straining their muscles. The Value Series is designed to be very economically priced, but still provide the impressive quality and reliability that Golden Technologies is known for. This handcrafted piece of furniture's outward appearance is that of a very traditional recliner, but there are many differences that make it much better.

Golden Technologies uses high quality Northern Maple Wood in the value series that is much stronger than the pressboard and pine that is often found in lower quality lift chairs and recliners. The lift chair also features 2 inches of block foam and is hand stuffed with an incredibly comfortable and durable polymer called Dacron. The result is an overstuffed chair that provides incredible lower lumbar support and is extremely comfortable for extended periods of sitting. The springs used in the Value Series are high grade and a very heavy gauge which adds extra comfort and greatly increases their lifetime. In addition, as safety is always the priority at Golden, these chairs incorporate rear landing legs to prevent tipping, and a heavily reinforced lifting mechanism. Golden is so confident in the craftsmanship and materials used in this chair that they offer a lifetime warranty on the chairs frame, the lift frame, and the reclining mechanism.

The Golden Value Series is available in both 2-position and 3-position recline. This refers to the amount that the back of each chair reclines. A 2-position chair will recline approximately 45 degrees, while a 3-postion chair will recline to a near horizontal position that is perfect for sleeping. This does not mean, however, that these chairs will only recline to 2 or 3 positions. The Golden Value Series utilizes a motor controlled back and foot rest that can be stopped at any position up until you reach the back. This is much different than a typical recliner that really only has 2-positions.

Golden has the widest selection of fabrics and colors available on the market today, so there is always going to be one that will fit your living room perfectly. The Value Series also has an included battery backup, so if the power goes out there is no need to fear being stuck in your chair. These lift chairs can support up to 375 pounds and heights up to 6'2". With all these great features the Golden Value Series is still very well priced, so you are guaranteed to get the most for your money.
