Won T Forget You Poison

    View:
A wide variety of indoor and outdoor thrills and excitement are available to enrich your mums life and make her dreams come true! Give her the opportunity to show that she is still young at heart and likes to let her hair down occasionally-she will love you for it!

If your mum makes passing comments such as ‘that looks easy', ‘I could do that' or ‘I'd love to do that' give her the chance to prove she can and will with a specially designed experience day as a gift this Mother's Day.

Tandem skydiving would certainly get her heart thumping and pulse racing to the max. Her day will begin with a full safety briefing, including landing techniques, before getting onboard the plane and being taken to a height of 10,000 feet. Your mum will be in safe hands quite literally as she will be securely fastened to an expert instructor before leaping from the plane. Before the instructor pulls the parachute cord your mum will experience thirty seconds of free fall-this alone is sure to blow her mind! Landing safely back on the ground she will have achieved a life time ambition-skydiving!

Mums who have a fear of actual flying can also be given the opportunity of skydiving without having to hurl themselves from a great height! Indoor skydiving is a fun and exhilarating way to experience skydiving-body flying-in a wind tunnel. Experienced instructors will give a safety briefing before she goes off to get into a specially designed flight suit. Then with her instructor she will step inside the wind tunnel and have one of the most amazing times of her life! If she's lucky her instructor will perform some aerobatics right before her very eyes. The session ends with a de-brief, and e-photo. A DVD of her flight will also be hers to take home-she will re-live her skydiving experiences over and over again with friends and family. An awesome Mother's Day present she will be absolutely over the moon with!

Horse lovers will enjoy catching, grooming, saddling up and riding Western style with this wonderful full day riding experience. Your mum will begin her Mother's Day with bacon rolls, coffee and a chat with a ranch hand. Then it's up to the field to catch, groom and saddle up-Western style and a chance to get to know the horse. Western style riding is great for beginners and far easier to learn and ride than conventional UK style riding. A lesson in the arena to get the feel of things before a barbeque lunch. The afternoon will be spent on a western trail into the beautiful New Forest. Once back at the ranch, your mum will help to unsaddle, rub down and feed her horse before taking it back to the pasture. All in all this wonderful Western style riding adventure is a great Mother's Day Gift.

First, put back anything that talks, walks, blinks or dings on it's own. Young children need toys to play with and explore, not toys that will play for them. Children need to learn by doing, not watching.

Allow your daughter to be the voice of the baby doll, figuring out what baby needs and filling that need. A doll that tells her what to do puts her in a passive role, she needs to create the scenario and play it out to the fullest without her doll having any input at all.

Allow your son to power that fire truck. He can sound a siren just as well as any pre-made battery powered noise box and you know it.

You want a toy that will get played with day in and day out? Let me let you in on a little secret. Little people like to play with little people. Little girls like to play with dolls, we all know that. Little boys also like to play with people. A castle set with knights, a king and queen and a dragon adorns the play table many a living room.

You won't find the knights in there though. There are usually some in the bathtub, some by the table in the kitchen and at least one tucked into bed with each of the little guys. Those knights have likely learned to swim, hide under the table, battle the dragon, drive the fire truck, and have apparently become accustomed to sleeping in beds.

Children also enjoy a good physical challenge. I used to have a basketball hoop hung on the closet door at the end of the hall. If you don't want your children playing basketball in the hallway (although I'm the type to encourage it), one of those basketball hoops that adjust as your child grows is an investment that will last for years. Not the tiny one made for the just walking crowd, mind you, that thing is good for six months, maybe. I like the portable and adjustable hoops that can accommodate big brother, little sister and Grandma if needed.

Given the freedom to choose anything they want in the toy store, they will be undoubtedly drawn to the blinking, dinging, singing, talking whizding in the brightly colored box. That doesn't mean that is the best choice for them. (Give them a choice between the produce section and the candy isle and chances are they won't make the best choice there either.)

On the other hand, if you bring home the new doll or the wooden handcrafted fire truck and sit down and play with them for an hour or so, they will cherish and play with that toy far longer than they would have appreciated that noisy whizding they picked out.
